my dad is a lawyer and maby you might even work for him i think he pays you 2 thousand something dollars either every week or something like that but you get a lot of money but during colleage there should be someone to help you or u can go online and check out the colleage you are going to and see if they can help you out

internships can be started at any time and should be done as soon as possible. that is how you will make business contacts for jobs after school. although most major firms look for interns in there last year of college. I would say start immediately in smaller practices and by the time you are about to graduate your experience will land you a great internship with a great firm.

You can do so after your first year of law school. ABA accredited law schools will not allow you to intern during the first year of law school and will limit you to 15 hours a week of work.

Regardless, it is never wise to intern during the first year. It is your most important year grade wise in law school so focus on grades is crucial. But during the summers you should intern.

you can intern whenever...be it high school or anything...you can really only get clerkships when you get into law school though. interns run errands...clerks run errands but also are involved more in the actual functions that lawyers do.
