i was reading a question on this and if you people think that the immigrants are not collectios ss you may be surprised. Some of the Asian people in the US are in fact collection SS. when they came to America they got a $10,000 grant to get started, put on SS, and collect welfare.
maybe you need to check out your info before just let stupidity fall out of your mouth.

i guess i just wanted to let people know that immigrantes can collect SS that they did not pay into. and yes they are leagal. but if i am wrong and you have the info to back it up then please let me know.

the Asian people if am referring to is the leioceans( probably spetl wrong) about 15 years ago like 10,000 of them were sponsered to come to the US, they got a grant and SS.

i'm not sure about the $10,0000 grants because i don't receive it, but i'm an legal immigrant and i paid SS so i can collect too.

Only legal immigrants collect Social Securtiy.
The Hmong people fought for the United States of America in the Viet. war. After Laos felt to communist, the US granted the Hmongs and Laos people refugees status allowing them to come to US.

Social Security can't be collected unless you actually paid into it. If an immigrant has been working in the US and then they retire, yes, they can get the same SocialSecurity as Americans who were born here. Legal immigrants have the rights as those born here, especially if they have become citizens.

You are probably talking about refugees? There is a difference, illigal immigrants cannot and do not receive ss. You should look into it a bit more before you say immigrants, know the difference.

I thought I read recently that Congress passed a bill that would give Social Security to "undocumented workers" i.e. illegals.
So, I think they will receive S.S.
