Some peole seem to win all the time when it comes to posting the "best answer." Why dont nobody like my Answers?

I consistently leave insightful, concise, thought-provking, and accurate answers to the questions posted on "Yahoo Answers", yet, I never seem to win. What gives? Why cant I ever win?

Well, I personally think it's cause Yahoo has a serious liberal bias, but still, I should win at least once.

I would say your answering the wrong questions! The one thing I have learned from this forum method is that the winner chosen will most likely be the most flattering, obnoxious, or self-affirming answer to their questions. 9 out of 10 times the person already knows what they want to hear (especially the hypothetical or statement in the phrase of a question). So all you have to do is humor them and say I agree yur real purr tee LOL! Don't give up eventually someone will appreciate your insightful conservative view points. They are so thought provoking! (Do I win lol?)

Personally, I have noticed that "Best Answers" generally are given to those that agree with the person asking the question. However, not always....

I have answered many questions, and in comparison to the Best Answers I have received...well, they are few. However, when I answer a question, I do some research first and then I put much thought into the answer I give.

I enjoy this research and I love reading other people's answers that offer real insight. I do not always agree but I do consider their views. Because of this, I have become far more informed and aware of what really is going on in this world of ours.

There are those that answer with "catty" or ugly remarks. When I see those I consider the source and assume they must not know the real answer and move on to someone that does.

Winning "Best Answers" is a nice feeling for a moment or two... but I don't participate in Yahoo Answers for that reason.

Maybe it has to do with the way you answer the questions. I would need to see some examples of your answers to give you a more accurate answer, but I have found that you need to keep all bias out of an answer and give valid points representing both sides of an discussion. I have received several "Best Answers" and I think it is due to the way in which I present my answer. I do not know one side without making a similar accusation against the other. Politically speaking, there are as many negatives about the Libs as there are against the Cons, and when giving answers to political questions, you need to be more objective and less one-sided. That way, even if the person asking the question does not agree with everything you say, they may still respect and appreciate the fact that you at least presented valid reasons for your response.

"Serious liberal bias"???
I think we've identified the problem, sir. You have an over-active neocon complex. We can try treating it with a topical ointment (these things have been known to wither up and fall off in time) or we can attempt a radical consie-ectomy, which involved transplanting a particle of active brain into your skull cavity, in the hopes that it might generate some actual thought processes.
I know this may come as a shock, but try to look on the bright side ... treatment is available. The first step is to admit that you have a problem.

Well, I just took 5 minutes out of my life to read your answers (except for the Bono question, I'm not searching for you through 29,000+ answers).

First, you've only answered 9 questions, so that's not much to go on. Keep answering and I'm sure there's someone out there who will agree with you, atleast once.

Your answers to the sports questions do seem quite knowledgeable and well-thought out.

Your answers to anything political though are just mean, horrible and nasty. It's one thing to be a conservative but the name calling of the liberals that you do gives me the impression of you as a very narrow-minded individual. Those answers do not come across as either intelligent or insightful, but riddled with hateful rhetoric.

Quit answering political questions and stick to the sports ones and you will likely get some best answers.

After reviewing your profile based on the answers you have given, attacked and responsed about Liberals, I would say that your opinion is based on your personal opinion.
Your opinion is merely from your own understanding/observation about particular topic which is out-dated, lack of concrete reasons, quite conservative, shallow and bias.
If you try to impose and hope that majority will appreciate your Republicans/Conservatives views here with open arms..forget it. You have to avoid being prejudice, shallow and look at the particular issue with open mind and heart in different angles plus never expect people to like/appreciate/agree with it. I have the impression that you are trying hard to be conservatiove while at the same time you forget that people might not agree with you. You can post 1000 answers but it wont change the fact that majority people have their own idea, opinion, thought and views which make more sense and thought provoking than yours!

Well, there's a problem with your assumption of liberal bias at Yahoo. Yahoo does not pick your best answers, the asker or the voters on Yahoo pick them. If there is "liberal bias", maybe it just means that most people are more liberal than you.

Also, I took the liberty at looking at a few of your answers. Here's a recent one (cut directly, this is your ENTIRE answer):

"Cause they're a bunch of Jesus hating, femi-nazi, tree hugging, welfare collecting, queers, who are eager to bring down American Freedom and impose their socialist agenda on everyone."

I think I'm starting to see what the real problem is.

I have reviewed all your answers, all nine of them. They are almost always completely irrelevant. They are neither thought-provoking nor accurate.

On a fairly straightforward question about the storage capacity of the human brain, you made a rather uncalled-for comment putting down liberals. On a question about a baseball team, you wrote that you hate people from the North.

Of course, your Answers are downright scholarly next to your Questions. But then, what do I know? I evolved from apes.

To sum up what everyone else has said, I'd say nobody done liked any of yor answers because everyone hates you.

I don't hate you, though. I don't know you, so it's kind of hard to hate someone you don't know.

That's not true. I hate that African dictator who boils people alive, and I've never met him.

But anyway, I don't hate *you*.

Neither does Jesus. Jesus loves you. Jesus love you long time.

It's early, and I really shouldn't be on here.

For Best Answers, it's best to be first and as simple/straightforward as possible. Maybe your "insightful, accurate" answers fly over peoples heads. Good luck.
