According to the Embassy of Ireland in Washington:

Citizenship by Birth
Anyone born in Ireland is an Irish citizen except children of parents holding diplomatic immunity in Ireland;
Anyone born outside Ireland, whose father or mother was born in Ireland, is an Irish citizen;

If you are a legal resident of the U.S., I think you have to get a U.S. passport with a visa to Ireland. Are you planning to go to Ireland?

I think you have to get a Canadian passport unless you are a naturalized citizen in Ireland.

You'd have to check with the Embassy/Consulate of Ireland as to their position on dual citizenship(assuming you are a US Citizen)
