Help! It all started when my neighbor duct taped a nude mannequin to his tree! Eventually she was moved up to the roof of the house so that no one would miss her. She also started out with all her body parts, but he's slowly taking away her limbs, she also has an american flag coming out of her private parts! Now he has spray painted "free speech" across his house, and is nailing trash to the front of his house as well!!

I have applied for student visa application since 42 days and still no response. The visa officer has today gone on holidat for 4 days tue - friday and sat sun is official holiday. She will join on monday. So another week delay!!!!!! I just posted a question about the media focusing on the negative aspects of the war in Iraq. There have been some excellent responses from all sides but I wonder if anyone thinks about the lives that those of us in the US Military might have saved? I worked so hard for six years to try and prevent bad things from happening. I don't want kudos, since I'm really happy with the time I spent in the military and couldn't ask for anything more, but does anyone think about how much US troops are doing to help people and save lives? There are military people out there who are trying their hardest to help others and save lives! Iraqi, American, whatever you are... My co-workers and I worked hard to try and help. Can we all stop for a minute to think about the positive?

Considering that the scarcity of a commodity determines its value, shouldn't we rid the country of the 12,000,000 illegals, thereby shrinking the labor pool in order to drive up the natural price of labor? Afterall, if we do not pay our poor through prices which have been inflated due to their hire, we will pay for them via welfare + the costs of the welfare bureaucracy. Also, we need a method of transporting people from high unemployment regions, such as my own - 12% -to locals where there is work. This to me answers the argument that people here won't work. They will work at higher wages if they are transported to them, and perhaps if they even continue to receive welfare benefits for 2 - 3 months to help them get on their feet. What are your thoughts?
