Not only are we retaliating against North Korea, but also Iran. Think about it. Bush rejected thy Kyoto Treaty. We as a country continue to create weapons of mass destruction. We who are viewed as the most powerful nation in the world hold talks with our who are those who have weapons of mass destruction (Russia, Israel, China, Pakistan, India), yet are fighting those who may get them or want them. Why do you think N. Korea and Iran want them? First, because they see that we will become allies with them if they too gain nuclear capabilities. Secondly take a look at Iran. At all four corners of their country, other countries have nuclear capabilities. They need protection! Who are we to tell them that we and our allies can have nuclear arms, but they can't? And, where is our own media who doesn't cover this? We must learn as a country to control ourselves before we try to tell other countries what to do!

because we have thousands of soldiers in south Korea at a location called the DMZ. I dont think the war between North and South Korea ever ended, I think it is still in cease fire agreement.
Also, India isnt threatening a bunch of our trade partners, North Korea threatens South Korea, and Japan.
But to be honest we should leave the North Koreans to the Chinese, if North Korea should start launching nukes you better believe China will have something to say about it.
if NK drops nukes on SK or Japan that would be like France dropping nukes on Italy, Germany which is down (like China) wind would definately have something to say.
Also we did get on to India for their weapons program and weapons build up, for a while we thought India and Pakistan were going to start a nuclear war.
And NK agreed last year not to build them and test fire missiles.

Whoever (any country) helps or lets the US fulfill the interests of US Government Corporations and Companies' interests, may get missiles.
If not, those countries are a threat to world peace and international security, like the "axis of evil (Iran, Iraq and North Korea)".
Look at what your government is doing in other countries (Afghanistan, for example).

It is because, North Korea is has isolated themselves both technologically and socially. They are hungry peoples. It might someday be necessary for them to invade the south, just to feed their own people. India as a country is a little less hostile and very much less isolated. They bicker with their neighbor Pakistan, but are not largely threats to other countries as N. Korea, who threatens Japan as well.

It's just a ploy to bring down Mr. Kim and flood South Korea with a bunch of beggars like we did to Germany with the wall ploy.

The countries most likely to use them for defense gets them. The countries most likely to use them for offense gets invaded...eventually.
How do you expect the United States and the "coalition of the moment" to depose evil dictators if we allow them to become armed to the teeth with nukes?

Kim Jong Il is a lowlife Mao (another lunatic) "want to be" who needs someone to plant their foot up his butt, mess up his hair, take away his platform shoes, and strip that bad boy naked in Pyongyang Square (in the middle of winter).
