I'm joining the USMC and considering Combat Photography but want to know a little more about the field. Such as:

Do you buy/use your own equipment?
What schools do you go through and what bases are they at?
Do they typically work for military news sources or with military intelligence?

I need unbiased opinions on reenlisting in the Army. I would go back in as a PFC, either with my previous MOS (56M - Chaplain's Assistant) or as a 68P - Radiology Specialist if it is available. I have a husband and 2 kids, and while I do realize that there is a possibility of deployment, our family's situation would benefit in several ways. Is it worth it? I'd really like to see if anyone can offer some fresh views on the issue. And please no answers from folks just looking to bash the military and/or the war.

I really need to change my son's last name. He was not given his biological father's name, because of circumstance. So, my ex wanted him to have his last name. He abandoned us 2 yrs ago, and haven't heard from him since. Now, my son is 3, and I want him to have my last name, as he doesn't remember my ex...and his real father is in prison, and JUST found out he's the father. He (my son's biological father), is ok with me giving our son my last name, but I just want to know what it entails, how much it will cost...anyone have ANY idea? Will legal aid help me out even though I'm not a single mom anymore? I spoke to a lawyer shortly after my ex abandoned us, and he said legally, we had to wait a full year before we could do ANYTHING (ie, take his name off birth cert, name change and social security number) I'm desperate for answers. Can anyone help?

Think about all the bad things that have happened with the Bush Administration. These events dont seem to be the presidents fault, so it makes me wonder, is someone intentionally destroying this country from the inside?

I am not a fan of the bush admin, but I know what he is to blame for. Somehow things dont seem to be adding up.
