to allow police to literally barge into your home if they have a warrant? They don't have to knock or announce themselves at all. They can just break your door down and come on in. We are slowly being stripped of our Constitutional rights.

France's upper parlaiment just passed a law to make it harder for unskilled migrants to settle in France. Other provisions include: Only the qualified get "skills and talents" residency permit
Foreigners only allowed in to work, not live off benefits
Foreign spouses to wait longer for residence cards
Migrants must agree to learn French
Migrants must sign 'contract' respecting French way of life
Scraps law on workers getting citizenship after 10 years

Of course opponents say the French are being racist.

What do you think?

And if the French Parlaiment 'gets it' why doesn't our own government?

I work as an engineer, I’m wondering how much verbal abuse, professional disrespect, and belittlement is legal in the United States?

I am a hard worker with a great work ethic, and work well with everyone. I work an average of 9 hrs a day, sometimes much more, and have always tried to please my manager but with little success. He is a former co-worker/peer with no people skills, recently promoted as manager for my discipline via his experience within the last year.

He micromanages my every move, treats me like a slacker, is a fault finder, and belittles me nearly, but not every, day. When he does this I always remain calm, professional, and maintain my composure, even when he yells at the top of his lungs at me. I always swallow my pride, because I love my work and have respect for my paycheck.

He will not ever let me explain my side of things. He is the type that seeks to be understood before he seeks to understand.

Anybody know what I can do without quitting?

I am traveling to Egypt this fall to get married to my fiance in Cairo. I am an American citizen, and he is Egyptian. We don't have a clue how to get him a Visa to travel back to the U.S. with me, once we are officially married. And we are both very limited in our finances, and I do not meet poverty guidelines for my state. Neither of us have a clue what to do to prepare for this life-changing occasion. Can he even come here once we are married? Someone please help! We are in love, and don't know what to do!

Musical guest KT Tunstall had the message, "THIS MACHINE KILLS FASCISTS" taped to her guitar and she pounded the words several times before beginning her song.

The musical guest was some chick from Scotland who stank, but had a mysterious message taped to her guitar which read: "THIS MACHINE KILLS FACISTS." Nobody seemed to know what this meant, but I did notice that at the end of the show she shook Carlin's hand, then Ann's, but then immediately focused a conversation on Carlin and didn't even glance at Ann again, as if she wasn't there. (source listed in sources)

Ann Coulton in interview with Right Wing News asked about John Murtha resplied "The reason soldiers invented "fragging."

Anyone else recall George Carlin's 7 words you can't say comedic act ?

They are different which do you prefer -control or closing?

And yes some are for neither-just wanted to know how the others feel between these options.

I am for closing until our problems are fixed. If that offends you sorry its not because of the people for me.
