I am a White Republican over 50. I would vote for Colin Powell or Condi Rice tomorrow.
If they support Conservative values, and want to keep America strong, then I say let it be here and now.

If you are African-American wouldn't that mean you were born in Africa and came to America
How many Generation dose it take to be just American.
I hope in time and it should be by now but I do feel we will have a Black American for President. It should not matter the color of ones skin.
But how they speak oops but that would take out GW lol

Maybe, but not before a woman. It's sad, but most likely true. There is far too much closet racism, especially in the Southeast, to get an African-American elected.

Yes, and I think if Condi Rice ran she would win. But she wont. I think its only a matter of time before it happens. America is not nearly as racist as it was 30 years ago.
The question should be, will the first black president be assasinated?

Yes but not in this life time, maybe not in your children's life time. Possibly in there children life time, if the planet last that long we have a lot to over come and stupidity makes it harder. As long as we see and grade people by there skin color none of us have a chance. Hence we all lose. and I think this needs to be said if Rice or Collin's was given that position some one would kill them just to make a mark. some people can't get passed them self's and there ignorance.

I believe if an African American could figure out this fuel problem, medical insurance delima, some how actually figure out all this war on terrorism crap, and ....o yeah figure out this fema mess id vote for him in a heartbeat. I wouldn't care if he was black, purple, green or what.........just as long as he wasn't the anti christ.
