and how do i find the number for the local police station when the links i get after searching does have anything help?

Depends on the state or city but if you call the police office that does the booking when they get arrested you can inquire and they will release that information to you. Call the jail.

well thats covered under the freedom of information act so all u need to do is goto any local police station and ask them
eg they will need full name and date of birth etc
and they will be able to tell u right away if he is in jail and which 1
