Prisoners get a free ride with food and housing. They watch TV, form gangs, and do nothing all day. Why can't we bring back the chain gangs to make prisoners work? Then the issue of cheap labor will be settled at NO COST.

I think the government should stay out of it all together. Moral or not it isn't up to our legal system to decide. This is my opinion. (no I am not gay:) Can you convince me to change my mind?

I've heard it said that members of congress are not required to pay social security taxes, even though everyone else in the country is. I'm curious what other laws and rules there are that members of congress are not required to obey (I think drug testing is something else that congress members don't have to do.)

In reality, the top 5 wealthiest senators are all Democrats and 8 of the top 10 are Demo's. Hillary would make the top 10 list with her $8 million book deal, but she reported a net worth less that $3.8MM because of substantial debts due, presumably, to legal fees incurred during the large amount of criminal investigation of the Clintons during his presidency.

A individual has been sending love letters (one eace day) to a lady friend of mine and she does not want to receive these anoying cards and letters. She has asked him to stop sending the mail and that she wants nothing to do with him. He said he will continue sending them and there is nothing she can do to stop him. She is in the process of obtaining a restraining order. Can/will a restraining order include stopping him from sending of US mail? The letters that have been sent so far have not been vulgar or offensive.

in the USA, I have a question for you. I am a legal resident of the USA and I have a lot of MIXED feelings on this issue. Who do you think is going to work picking the tomatoes in the fields? We have a foundry in town that is very very hot (warehouse - in FL) - melted metal. People will start working there one day and NEVER return because it hot hard work. Who do you think is going to do this work if they all leave? I'm just curious. See, if they do leave, don't you believe that our agriculture/industry prices will have to go up because they will have to be forced to pay higher wages for such work by a US citizen. Just something to think about - what are your thoughts? Like I said, I have somewhat mixed feelings. Am not "arguing" with anyone.

First her new book hits the #1 slot for Amazon.com, now it hits the #1 slot for the NY Times (a strongly liberal paper I might add). Here's my thoughts. And no, it's not Bush's fault. How can one man do that much damage? And it isn't the war, either because the oil's still flowing. Here's my theory. Across the U.S. we have so many restrictions, such as a requirment to have a certain type of gas in this part, another in the next zone, and a totaly different one in the next. And there are about 7 of these "zones." No new refineries have been built in 18 years. We can't drill in ANWR because we'de harm the carribou population, but we can sure as he*l put a giagantic pipeline and a road right down through the center of it. We can only have a certain number of rigs in the Gulf. Why? The EPA. A Socialist Founded Institution. They've imposed so many rstrictions on gas and drilling rigs, that it's almost imposible to do any REAL drilling. I don't mean some little rig by your house. And here's the hipocracy of it. Mexico just built themselves a gigantic rig in the gulf, and no one said anything. And the EPA is supposed to be an International Organization, last I heard. Could it be they are not out to help America after all? When an animal's life comes before our well being, that's when it becomes too much. When it interfere's with our economy, and just about puts us in a stand still, that's when we, the American people need to step up and say enough. I'm gonna ask another question here in a minute, under "How do you take a nation down without military force?" But this one is asking if anyone has a different veiw on why Gas prices are so high. And I don't want to hear "Bush's Fault!" If thats all you can say, then don't say a thing.
