Sure. Not just immigrants though, only the ILLEGAL immigrants. Illegal meaning they are not supposed to be here and did not go through proper procedure to get Visa's etc. to be able to live and work here. Yes, I hope all the ILLEGAL immigrants get sent back to their home country like the 55 they busted yesterday at the Dulles Airport in VA. They have already been flown to TX for fast processing. We need immigrants in this country but we do not need ILLEGAL immigrants as they work for cash under the table and work for less than minimum wage so they are taking jobs from legal Americans. Send the Illegals running for their life I say.....

Bill to kick them out?
I know of no such bill...the House of Reps..passed a tough immigration bill..that would make it a felony to be in this country illegally..and for a border fence..to keep illegals out. The senate then passed their own bill..a very weak bill..that would give illegals a "path to citizenship," which is really amnesty. Now it will be up to the house to review the senate bill and work together to see if they can come up with one bill..that will pass.(that will not be easy)
Some seem to think it wouldbe virtually impossible to round up all 12-20M illegals and deport...I happen to disagree..it make years...but, we should never reward law breakers..and that is what amnesty really is...rewarding the illegals for being in our country ..illegally.
Recent raids by ICE has been a positive thing..many of these illegals that have been brought in by ICE..are know criminals..in this country..child predators..rapist..even murderers..I say..lets keep the pressure on our elected officials to vote no for amnesty, yes, natl guard on the borders..and build that fence.
Kudos to the Minutemen for doing a good job.

The way the bill is written, it indicates different punishments depending on length of stay, length of employment and criminal activity, for illegals only.
Really though, it isn't a question of if we could, it's a matter of that we should. Total disrespect for our laws should be punishable, no matter what the crime or who the person is. It's an invasion on a massive scale, and we simply cannot allow it to continue.

They COULD but they WON'T! The Senate Immigration reform bill gives illegal immigrants virtual amnesty:
Current Bill:
1. grants amnesty to the MILLIONS of illegals already here!
2.grants amnesty to illegals FAMILYS,who live OUTSIDE the country
3.admits HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of unskilled "guest workers",through a new "guest worker" program, with a direct path to permanent resident and citizenship!
4.admits 1.5 MILLION
agricultural "guest workers" with a direct path to citizenship!
5.increases the number of employment based, immigrants admitted to the U.S. each year,by 400%!!
6.gives the Dept.of Homeland Insecurity, the discretion to waive fines for employers who knowingly hire illegals!!
7.allows states to give ILLEGALS,in-state tuition benefits that they can DENY to citizens who live in other states!
8.requires consultation with the MEXICAN government, before we begin construction of a fence along OUR border!
9.creates new student visa programs, with direct path to citizenship!
10.allows ILLEGALS to claim Social Security benefits, for work performed ILLEGALLY!!!!
11. Adds a 10 year 'statute of limitations' to give amnesty to illegals coming in in the future if they provide documentation saying they were here for 10 years at any future point. (This to people who have been using false documents all along.)
12. Each of the guest workers in each of the 1.5 million person PER YEAR and 200,000 unskilled person PER YEAR program would, upon obtaining residency or citizenship be able to bring their families as well. This includes indigent parents at a time when we already don't know how we will fund old age requirements for the baby boomers.
The Wall Street Journal just touted a poll saying Americans are beginning to prefer Bush and the Senate's view to immigration reform. However, I've read the questions they asked. Had I not actually read the Senate Bill and had I been asked those questions, I'd have ended up being counted as supporting Bush and the Senate in this. People only approve of the Senate Bill if they don't know what it says.
They are not looking out for legal American Citizens. They don't listen to us. They are listening to freeloading illegal immigrants. If enough of the voting legal population will get their heads out of their butts and let their senators and representatives know how they feel about this atrocity to the American people they just might start to listen to us.
The laws on illegal immigration are already on the books, they just need to ENFORCE THEM!

You need to rephrase your question. The US can kick out all ILLEGAL, UNDOCUMENTED immigrants. They have been able to do that since the beginning of our national borders.
The immigration bill being discussed will gove SOME illegal immigrants the option of staying, but most of the illegals will still face the risk of being kicked out (because that's the law!!!).

Yes, they defiantly can, but there are over 11 million, I repeat 11 million, illegal immigrants in the USA, an I highly doubt the US government are capable of finding every last illegal immigrant to send back where ever they cam from.

They can try to kick out the Illegals, but it will cost too much money. The government missed a golden oportunity when they didn't pick them up at the rallies.

There's still 280 million LEGAL citizens of the United States, we can have that done in, say, a month, with no government 'help', 15 years with federal 'aid'...

Legally, the USA can send home everyone who is here without permission, as they have already broken USA laws. It can also revoke permission that it has already given but will need to go thru certain legal procedures to do that.
