You nailed it. Look at what has occurred in the last 5 years since 9/11. Patriot Act- it has compromised our rights as American citizens giving the government the right to impede on our privacy. The Iraq war- 2500 US military deaths and thousands of wounded, 450 billion dollars that could of gone to other social, education needs. Our Political Climate- Have we ever been so divided (like a wedge being driven down the middle of our country) Social Values- When has freedom ever been so compromised.

Has our enemies won? I wouldnt say they have won but I would say they are winning the war.

Perhaps if conservatives had been in charge all of that time, your question would have merit... But during the decade of the 90's when the country was basically run by liberals, we were even more active in world politics....

i have considered you earlier have not I stirring your political anti-american rhetoric. the US trades with countries contained in the middle east and it has extremely better existence there. maximum are grateful for the properity created with assistance from commerce. A tiny minority resents dropping their complete administration of a inhabitants that now not worships their authority and it drives them mad. highly the liberation of ladies.

in order for something to be a "trap"...you first have to assume that those setting the "trap" are smart enough to devise the "trap" and to use it for their benefit...doesnt really look like this "trap" your talking about is working for the benefit of those doing the "trapping"...does it..???
