The same people who wanna rush inmates to execution to save taxpayer money usually don't mind spending billions of said dollars to send our troops to die in an illegal war? Man, I gotta stop pointing this stuff out. It's depressing the hell outta me.

Sinfuly's point does not make any sense - we chose to fight this war - 9/11 had nothing to do w/Iraq, have you been living in a cave! So basically the point is that we spend money to execute and we spend money to send soliders off to their death. In the first case, one can argue justfication in the other, we are sending basically kids off to die for a war that should never have been fought. Sinfuly should spend 5 minutes listening the news and take her head out of the sand. And btw - now we really have something to worry about, we've increased terrorism ten fold.

The party is full of paradoxes - like wanting to ban abortions and then cutting programs to help children and mothers. If they are so gung ho on forcing women to continue with their pregancies then whey the hell don't they fund programs to help kids after there born!

What's illegal about the war? It was administered to the letter of the UN Resolution. Just because you disagree does not make it wrong.
When troops are sent the intention is not for them to die by the way. You seemed to have missed that fact as well.
.
Do you find it necessary for a death row inmate who has exhausted all the possible appeals and faces no other possible.
.
outcome other than execution to remain housed in an overcrowded prison at the taxpayer's expense?
.
As for the pro-life comment-you'd do what? kill 'em before they have the chance to do an wrong? makes sense...that was sarcasm in case you're too dumb to get it

If you're so depressed, go see a shrink.

How is it a paradox? In what sense?

1. People who are being executed (and people who should be) spend 15, 20 or more years waiting for execution. Add to that the unlimited numbers of appeals they request, and the costs of having to deal with those appeals, it adds up to a lot of money spent on a scumbag murderer. I know leftists love murderers - terrorists, Saddam, Arafat, Mumia, etc - but why should I have to have money taken from my pocket to support them for decades after they committed murder?

2. 'Illegal' war. This is a meaningless statement, as there is no such thing as 'international law'. Also, in case you hadn't noticed, the war in Iraq is just one part of the overall war on terror. This was our response to the 9/11 attacks, which cost this country trillions of dollars. Yes, trillions. That, on the heels of the Clinton recession, cost us more than the war, legal and rightful, is costing us.

3. Perhaps facts, logic and reason would help you in not making up 'facts' or omitting so many facts, and it wouldn't depress you.

I guess liberalism *is* a mental disease, by your own admission. Hahahaha!:)

I guess you didn't take a logic class, or failed miserably at it. There is no paradox.

Have you noticed 100% of those that eat chicken also drink water? What can we do about that.

Or, in case you missed the point, one has nothing to do with the other.

Addendum, received an email, but when I tried to reply, he has a bogus email, so I will reply here, in public view instead.

Neither is senseless, and you saying it is doesn't make it true. Do you always type in all caps? It's considered very rude, much like shouting.

Paradox, LOL your kidding right? Please tell me you are, because these obvious lies and out right F-ups go ignored.
(Wait there are investigations, BY there friends! That low & behold let them go. Big surprize)My dear friend, this is the politics
of fear. Now I'm not Michael Moore, but the only truth the consevitives seem to be able to unfold is what people do in bed.
Which is none of there bussiness. And really has no relivents.
Well ,there just seem to be a real leadership shortfall. And by the way Hillery is NOT going to fill it. We had a choice, Dumb answers or no answers. Either way we were boned.

Have you ever notice this liberal paradox. The same people who are pacifists, fight like hell when they are mugged or raped or when someone is trying to kill them. How hypocritical is that?

I thought liberals were suppose to be so dedicated to peace and love and brotherhood. How can anyone like that inflict harm on another poor human being who is just trying to take what he deserves anyway. After all, he was more than likely oppressed by whitey anyway?

Sounds pretty stupid doesn't it? Got a mirror handy?

We don't SEND our troops out there at the cost of millions. Troops aren't dangerous criminals, they are defending our crappy country...they are the only ones who are going to do it. As we as Americana's are lazy and only think of ourselves.
Imagine this for a moment if you will....**twinkling bells and a scene spreading**

We are at war on our own soil....Our troops are deployed on other country's soil, we don't have enough to fight for our coasts. So the government decides to give regular Joe's guns...Would you trust your neighbours with guns, and not to ONLY think of themselves and what they can do to defend themselves? I sure the heck wouldn't because that's all we as a society care about, ourselves. We I don't think would defend our country. I think we would think of nothing but ourselves.
**Bells end**
We kill people who are killers, rapists, and others who have done wrong....And OUR Sons, daughters, wives, mothers, fathers, and brothers and husbands CHOOSE to go to war....CHOOSE, there is NO DRAFT!!! Yes it cost money to defend our country, Not even in the same category as your.....trying to make it seem...
Well sorry to burst your bubble, but what you said has NO valid point....moving on.

killing is not killing...in response to a responder. Killing in self-defense is not murder. Killing a guiltless infant is murder. Punishing a murderer with death is not murder.

It's not a paradox. It's fighting for the greater good. It may not make sense to you, but to many of us, it's perfectly obvious which one of these things are right and wrong.

and those same people are letting criminals go early every day to rape, rob and murder you in the name of sympathy for criminals and the belief they can be rehabilitated...
we spend billions on our military to keep peace...some die ...they know the priice they might have to pay when they enlist...they believe in our system that much....

quit looking at the glass as half empty..look at it as almost full...
