A individual has been sending love letters (one eace day) to a lady friend of mine and she does not want to receive these anoying cards and letters. She has asked him to stop sending the mail and that she wants nothing to do with him. He said he will continue sending them and there is nothing she can do to stop him. She is in the process of obtaining a restraining order. Can/will a restraining order include stopping him from sending of US mail? The letters that have been sent so far have not been vulgar or offensive.

Yes a restraining order states that there is to be no contact, weather it be by phone, in person or sending anything. You can also have a lawyer send him a cease and dissist letter.

I believe that if she has asked him to stop and he refuses, then falls into the category of harassment, which is also included in the stalking laws. Filing a police report would be the first step I'd take. Let them go pay him a visit.

The easiest way to stop it is to just return to sender unopened
They will get tired of it and stop on their own
Post office does return to sender free

He will meet someone new and forget her soon

Hope everything turns out all right
Best wishes
