Why should anyone get OFF ENDED over a word? Like this one one word that people have changed the meaning to=Ni*ger. Does anyone know the actual meanong to it? It means unclean, uneducated, and ignorant. It doesnt' have to be directed at a black person, because I have many black freinds, some of who I would trust my life to. If you want the real meaning of many words, look them up. You'll be surprised that some of the meanings aren't derogatory at all.

Why can black people make songs referring to white people as whiteboy but THATS ok? Why is the phrase "Black Power" taken in a positive light, an empowering light, but the converse, "White Power" is automatically construed to be racist? I think it's time for black people to get off their collective asses, start filling out applications, quit with the silly dreams of being a rapper or an athlete and stop worrying about what others think of them and start making progress for themselves.

because they want to make you fill inferior. they think that it's their world and they can do whatever they want because they think it's fun. them using the offensive words are just showing how ignorant the are. or they live a bad life and the only way that they fill better is by feeding off of other peoples sorrow.

How old are you??? How long are you going to let "WORDS" be offensive to you. Get tough already. Monkey, Neia, Neigga, Niggeerr, Spicc, Kike, Jewbag, Heeb, Camel Jockey, Redneck, trailor cracker, towle head, slant eye. They're really just words. Don't give them any power over your day.

I'M A WHITE WOMAN WITH A BLACK/WHITE MIXED SON AND A MEXICAN FIANCE. I'VE HEARD IT ALL, HONEY! I TEACH MY CHILD NEVER TO USE THE "N" WORD, OR ANY OTHER DEROGATORY WORD ABOUT ANYONE. HIS FATHER, HOWEVER, ACTUALLY CALLS HIM "LITTLE ******" AND SOMEHOW MEANS IT IN AN ENDEARING WAY. ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS WAS A BLACK GIRL WHOSE NICKNAME FOR ME WAS F***ING CRACKER. I THOUGHT IT WAS QUITE HILARIOUS! SOME OTHER WHITE PEOPLE WHO HEARD IT OFTEN THOUGHT I SHOULD BE OFFENDED, BUT I NEVER WAS. I WON'T SAY "******" BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE SOMEONE MIGHT TAKE IT AS ME BEING RACIST AND I'M NOT. I DON'T WANT TO BE MISTAKEN FOR A RACIST. I RESPECT OTHER PEOPLE , AND OTHER S SHOULD DO THE SAME.

We are guaranteed the right to freedom of speech. You are the only person who can make you feel offended.

P.S. Any rap album has the "N" word a hundred times, but if a white guy says it WHOA!!!! RACIST!!! When will we all understand the concept of "EQUAL rights?"

I believe that the person is feeling insecure, less than superior. It is a way of making them feel better as much as they hope to make the recipient feel bad.
