My personal opinion is that religion and politics should not mix - this is because I think religion is a personal choice, and in today's multicultural society no religion should be able to affect the law and government of a country that will be made up of people of many religions.

However, I recently watched a documentary about a new college in the USA that has been set up with the express intention of getting fundamentalist Christians into the White House and into all areas of Government.

What do you think? Should religion ever be allowed to play a part in government?

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Despite record low approval ratings, House lawmakers Tuesday embraced a $3,300 pay raise that will increase their salaries to $168,500.

The 2 percent cost-of-living raise would be the seventh straight for members of the House and Senate.

So I ask. What the hell??

I was JUST relieved from post as I waited for my ride home. I decided to drink a couple of beers, my friend of relieved me had a BB gun we shot at some beer cans and rabbits. As my friend was on patrol, I pumped up the gun before setting it in the truck(security guarding a bulldozer) I accidently pulled the trigger. The BB round went through the back window of the Dozer cracking it to hell, exited out the front window, COMPLETELY shattering the exit window. My question is this.......the police told me it would be a midameanor charge. I am wondering if the judge will agree to send me to rehab as I was intoxicated during this incident. What are your views?
