Consdering all three, Congress, Supreme Court and the Executive, are controled by the same party and considering previous rumours, is there anything the average US citizen could do if the results don't match the polls at all this year or in 2008?

If you are for the legalization of gay marriage do you also feel that polygamy, child porn, and other disturbing choices of sexual expression should be legal? If so whats the difference. To me they are all choices that are wrong and should not be legal.

I was just wondering how the democrats plan to win over the southern states especially the bible belt. There are many things like abortion, gay marriage, etc. that probably won't fly real well there.

Remember when women had no rights? (in America) Remember when blacks had no rights?(America again) Now we are in a time when Gays have no rights. They can't adopt children, or get married. That is discrimination. What rights do the government have to deny people from living free in a free country. It seems to be religous to me. Wasn't this country founded by people running from a country that's doing the same thing this one is now?
What are your veiws?
I'm open to anything.

for instance, think about the stink we a re making about immigration, when this great nation was built under the hands of immigrants. the presidents that ruled our great nation were raised by you guessed it immigrants. bottom line, everyone is so concerned about themselves, we don't think about others. we are slowly demolishing ourselves. i wish we would focus on what is important.

Halliburton was awarded an $85.5 million contract to rebuild damaged U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney Monday. "We are proud to serve the executive branch in their hour of need," CEO David J. Lesar wrote in a statement released later that day. "Due to our vast experience with oil-well fires and refinery mishaps, we are well-versed in the sort of reinforcement, rewiring, and exoskeleton refitting Mr. Cheney so desperately needs." The Department of Ways and Means defended awarding the contract to Halliburton on the grounds that they had done the original work on Cheney in the 1970s.
