Consdering all three, Congress, Supreme Court and the Executive, are controled by the same party and considering previous rumours, is there anything the average US citizen could do if the results don't match the polls at all this year or in 2008?

I find that by withdrawing from the system, it is showing non-support. Like Ghandi, Jesus, and others.
Stop tihing to the gov't by paying taxes, don't stop talking and rallying for change, continue to fight until the truth is exposed and justice achieved.

As they put it on the Declaration of Independent. The citzens should unite to call for a recount or else revolt. That's Right. I demand a recount for 2000 election
