Yes, it needs to be stopped. If people want to come to America and bring their culture that is fine as long as they don't expect their new country to change go out of its way for them. Become bi-cultural, join the new one but also preserve yours. And come legally

There are no immigrants. There is no diversity. Oh my God no one knows what's going on.

It's called Reconquista, Mexico is far from a poor industrialized country, they want to reclaim land back to Mexico by numbers and getting people to vote.

This is a legalized colonization blessed by our leaders in Washington who have not a care about creating another war for independance.

In the next 20 years 103 million immigrants can enter legally by the current plan in Congress. That's not migration, that's not imigration, that is colonization. No wonder we have laws that say we have to learn Spanish and integrate with them and not the other way around.

We are paying willingly to support those same Mexicans that will with no way out lead us to our second war for independance.

For those that don't get it, colonization is in this case, all Mexican Hispanic, it's not a tossed salad, or melting pot, it's a movement and in 20 years the Hispanic people say they will be able to take California with all politicians right down to local leaders all being the same ethnicity. Where is the diversity in that? How are the bettering the country with a cost of over 10 billion dollars a year to California alone where most will never be citizens but claim they want Atzlan back for Mexico?

The people on Answers last night were well informed. Seem's the day crowd has alot of catching up to do.

85% of the population are not immigrants and were born here. 14% of all immigrants living and dead contrubuted to building America.

Stop being fed so many lies!!

actual the purely thanks to get the illegals to bypass domicile is to easily implement the guidelines already on the books adversarial to hiring unlawful immigrants. There are guidelines now yet for some reason the corporation community needs to have a low paid sub class of workers and workss very problematical to keep the prevailing guidelines from being enforced. It the rustic did an employment verification verify on each worker and made effective all of us who did not inspect replaced into fired, they might all leave and under no circumstances more desirable would come. besides the indisputable fact that, understant that in many situations there would nicely be 1000's of illegals utilising a given Social protection volume. for this reason, those people all pay into social protection yet purely one will carry jointly a pension. loose money for some thing people in the social protection gadget. The illegals receives no social protection.

Yes, it's changing the southern border states.

Are illegals loyal to the United States? Do we want to have a majority of illegals here? If they aren't loyal to the U.S.,then yes the United States will change.

What would happen if 50 million Germans invaded the U.S. in the next 5 years and refused to learn English? Are you saying you wouldn't notice the difference?

No. The United States is slowly changing because of technology, demographic shifts in wealth, and it is changing because everything changes.

Change is a good thing. Immigration doesn't mean anything except that Immigrants want a change, too.

Yes...But it has been changing since the day it was formed. It will always be changing and the immigrants is only one of many many many influences that gets stirred into the change. With these changes, many will find it positive, many will find it negative, and many will be indifferent. Actually in my little opinion, I think Walmart policies have had a larger effect on the nation and it's business culture which in a capitalistic society drives the rest.

The Irish changed America.

Yes, and I'd think that much of the reason people are scared by the volume & speed of mexican immigration is a fear changing or erasing a portion of what America is about.

They are bettering this country with the wealth of their beautiful culture and eagerness to work and live the American dream. Maybe they will be an example, so that people on welfare will see they will do anything to support their families. America is suppose to be a tossed salad, that is what we were founded on.

actually cant, we didn't steal their lands. These are mexicans, not native north americans that lived in western USA. Mexicans (spanish at the time) stole it from them. Mexicans ancestors (Spanish and indian) didn't live in that area.

And how is stopping illegal immigration racist?

Well yeah, accepting illegal immigrants will prove to the law abiding Americans that law doesn't matter ... do what you want and scream loud ... and you'll get what you want ... anarchy, anyone?
