for instance, think about the stink we a re making about immigration, when this great nation was built under the hands of immigrants. the presidents that ruled our great nation were raised by you guessed it immigrants. bottom line, everyone is so concerned about themselves, we don't think about others. we are slowly demolishing ourselves. i wish we would focus on what is important.

I think overcrowded and underfunded schools and stretched to the point of breaking and prohibitively expensive health systems are important.

Legal immigrants are budgeted for. We are a country of LEGAL immigrants. Illegal immigrants weren't allowed here for a reason.

Illegal immigration is giving them a better life at the expense of a better life for our children.

Because US citizens(so called Americans are only the Native Indians!) are stupid.
Most immigrants come under absolutely the same circumstances your anestrors came. In fact , millions come on VISAS, have legal SSN and pay ALL taxes. Yet they work for many years without a chance for citizenship. YOur ancestors didn't speak the language, hadn't paid taxes to US AT ALL and still got citizenship as soon as they landed on US soil! They were far less deserving than the immigrants of today. They were just foreighners noone wanted. Yet they built US, just like the immigrants of today.
If you don't want immigrants, you should ALL leave and return this land to the Native Americans, whose land your ancestors stole!

And what IS important is our border security .. this talk about "this nation was built by immigrants" is getting old! There were different laws then, we have to follow the EXISTING laws ... I don't think anybody is against immigrants per se, but what is wrong with following the laws pertaining to immigration? Why all of a sudden is it OK to do things illegally?

Immigrants are fine...Its the fact that immigrants today choose to not INTEGRATE into our society. That means speaking English and abiding by the laws of the land and paying taxes...

My grandparents were terrified to learn english but they did because they knew that was the only way to really become AMERICAN. Im sorry to say this but language is a key here.
