OK, you assume that everyone there is a "danger". Why? because Dubya told you so. Forgive me if i choose not to believe him.

Yes, we've risen to new heights of incompetence. If it is clear that each prisoner is a terrorist, it should be quick work to charge them, try them, and throw them into real jails (military or otherwise). What is so unreasonable or difficult about that?

But it's taken more than 4 years to charge a tiny handful, and finally send a few never-charged people home. While we don't seem to be able to get our stuff sufficiently together even to CHARGE the vast majority after all this time.

It's obviously incoherent. I think the gov't is embarrassed to admit it's clueless about most of these prisoners (who mostly seem to be there based on snap decisions by soldiers in the field, as far as we can tell). What do you say to people you've imprisoned for 4 years with no visitation by their families when you finally decide you have no basis to hold them and need to send them home? Better to drag it out. Maybe some evidence will turn up, or they will commit suicide or something.

So your saying that all those people are there by accident? That all of them made a wrong turn and ended up with a rifle in their hand pointing in the direction of American troops. Come on get real and wake up. Who's the tool here? You're right they aren't prisoners of war they are enemy combatants which means they have even fewer rights than POWs. Would you release them all to go back and try and kill more American troops?

Read your history books. When we are at war and capture and enemy soldier we can just let them go. They are put in prison camps until the end of the war. We had prison camp all around the U.S. during WWII for german soldiers. When the war was over we released them but you have to wait until the end of the war. If you release them before the end they will just rejoin the fight and try to kill you again. Just like in the movie Saving Private Ryan. They let a german go and he ended up coming back and killing a few of them. The only option is to kill them which is what the enemy allready does to our soldiers.

Farce hahahaha I don't understand why everyone is making a big deal out of us holding criminals. Especially ones that would be more than willing to kill you. Just because you are american. The ones that killed themselves in there would have been more than happy blowing up 20 or 30 americans along with them. Let them fry down there.

You make me sad. Americans who second-guess the Administration at every turn. But, I guess with 26 yrs of life experience, you know it all.

What's your solution , by the way, to whatever it is you are parroting?

When our senators and congressmen stand up for what is right.

Oh wait, that'll never happen unless money's involved...

I guess, never.

Fair Trials should be given to all men. Regardless of their political standings, "justice for all." I mean do we believe in the American ideals or what?

Why end it. The terrorist threats being held there belong there. Why should they get human rights when they have taken away many lives of our people and yours too. I do not feel pity or sorry for them.
