It is hard, probably impossible, to prove the negative argument.

Let me say that
1) the world itself is proving that no human being can control all of it. Earthquakes and hurricanes seem beyond the control of even the super rich.
2) the super rich can get together and control much of the economies. Most of them are NOT Freemasons. Why should they be? Freemasons work toward improving their morals and actions, improving the plight of the poor (check out the Shriner's hospitals as an example.)
3) Many of the super rich belong to religions or cultures that are hostile to Freemasonry: Fundamentalist Christians, Catholics, and Fundamentalist Muslims all preach against Freemasonry. None of them would range under Freemasonry's tolerant banner.
4) Many masculine rite Freemason lodges are closing and consolidating in the United States. Their membership is dwindling. It is hard to find men who wish to be morally straight, free of drugs and other enslavements, who want to spend a night a week doing work on themselves and the community.

With all of that said, I am a Freemason, a Co-Mason (not the mainstream Freemason as some will tell you). I spend at least two days a month in Lodge. No, I cannot see that we control the world. Fact is, I have enough to do just working on getting myself together.

I think we wish someone smart and savvy were in charge. I think we all have a list of complaints we would like to take up to them and have things fixed.

Best of luck in finding the people who run the machinery at the center of the world. I hope you are not disappointed. Remember the scene in Apocalypse Now where the bridge is being blown up and the guy is looking around wondering who is in charge. He stops and asks a soldier. The soldier looks back at him and says, "I thought YOU were, Sir." Oh well.

I saw a great program on The National Geographic Channel. It is called The Secrets Of The Freemasons. It will be on again this month, check www.nationalgeographic.com and search Freemasons. The show talks about the myths and theories about Freemasonry in an hour long program. That program might help answer many questions regarding the Freemasons taking over the world and using satanic means of accomplishing just that. You will see that the Freemasons are actually a fraternaty of good men that believe in good things.

Yes, I believe that the Illuminati, of which the Freemasons are a part, control far too much of the world and that they influence, in a bad way, far too many lives. Groups that belong to the Illuminati tend to have practices and beliefs that are very similar to those of Freemasons, and are based on "old knowledge", going back to ancient times. The basis of much of the "old knowledge" to my reasoning, is theft. Freemasonry tends to be a system of organized theft. Freemasons overheard talking among themselves, are witnessed to use the words "take" and "we took", when they really mean "steal" or "rob". Find out how people get ahead on the System, controlled by these types. The goal of the Illuminati seems to be that of corporate domination, with much power and wealth in the hands of a few. It is also an occult organization. Have you heard the saying, "Become a free mason, because everything is free!" (MAYbe for them, but others pay). The dealer Freemasons tend to take a large overhead for themselves and their families when people approach them for deals because they want more (people get "taken").

I don't think the freemasons are that smart to control the world.

No. Why? Because one of my old family friends is one. They really don't do that much that actually warrants controversy. Some of their meetings are actually open to the public. If they wanted to hide a conspiracy, believe me it would stay secret.
