We think she is more sly then crazy and has figured out that negative notoriety or publicity is better than none at all. Her way of marketing her books IS the controversy she creates in the media. When it is all over, she claims to be misunderstood, and just think, we are taking precious moments of our lives to discuss her. But, we have no interest in purchasing her writings. And yes, you are right, Poor Annie.

When you consider statements like, "Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims," there are only three possibilities:

1) Coulter has very poor exposure to general information and is mistaken in her facts. Considering her professional achievements, this is unlikely.

2) Coulter is severely detached from reality and has no grasp of even the most basic syllogistic logic. This, also, is unlikely. A brief perusal of her writings shows a profound ability for feats of contortionistic reasoning.

3) Coulter is being dishonest. This seems likely. We can only speculate on her motivations for doing so. Although many believe that she is in it for the money, this seems unlikely to me. Coulter was a successful lawyer long before she entered the political arena. (She was an unpaid legal adviser for the attorneys representing Paula Jones in her sexual harassment suit against Clinton).

I think Coulter, in reality, does hold dogmatic neoconservative beliefs...just not to the ludicrous degree that she projects. She does what she does in the belief that the ends justify the means, that any statements or political debauchery is justifiable to advance a conservative agenda. This seems likely, in light of THIS quote, in reference to the Paula Jones lawsuit:

"We were terrified that Jones would settle. It was contrary to our purpose of bringing down the president."

If you mean crazy like a fox. Then yes. Remember this. Controversy sells books. Keep an eye on her book sales and I bet you that they go up. It is all entertainment people. It just like the WWE exept with worse writers.

All this woman did is use her position to advance her cause mainly it all comes down to $$$ with her comments broadcasted every day surely all the free press she received without having to pay for it serves to only enhance book sells as everyone wants to see what the fuss is all about. She sold out to make it

Based on the last few interviews I saw her on I actually think she has some deep seeded hatred for people that stems from an early childhood incident. I think her babysitter was a liberal who locked her in a closet with someone who was actually in the closet.

She is just outspoken, coming from the right wing side. The loud complainers are 99% coming from you damn liberals. She is a brave soul

A little over the top and insensitive sometimes. But the content, after you get through the puffery, is generally pretty incisive.

Crazy? No way. Outspoken? Yes.

It's scary how much sense she makes at times. Yes, she offends people now and again, but she beats Ted Rall any day of the week.

You sent me an e-mail about this post then told me I was too much of a coward to write back. FYI, I tried to write back but Yahoo Answers wouldn't send it through because your e-mail, it says, isn't verified. Get it verified and e-mail me again--nicely and without the profanity this time, please--and I'll reply again.

she might qualify. she seems to have no distinction between reality and the world she creates in her mind. have you read any of her new book? (the one that came out on 6/6/6)

the other day a customer asked me what i thought of it. all i could honestly say was that i hadn't found a true sentence in it yet.

she's either on too few pills, or too many.
