why is there so many m.p's?

Because a vote on acts of parliament wouldnt really work wth only a few. Think about it, say we cut government down to the cabinet, the opposition to the shadow cabinet. Its going to be easier for them to pass shody laws. Easier for them to gain more and more power. Plus you cant have the views of society represented by just 20-40 odd people.

m.p.'s??? You mean military police? I thought they were only on bases.....

Good question. Not one of them are any good either. all lazy SOB's that get paid too much for doing practically nothing
