Where I live in Lubbock Texas the police took part in the Falcon II project to capture violent offenders, child preditors, and drug dealers.
Our police saw this as an opportunity to make many arrests, and raided peoples homes, arrested them, then took them to jail, all throughout the night.
They raided 80 homes that night, and they were proud of it too.
However, there was a problem, only three people arrested were violent offenders, child preditors, or drug dealers.
The other 77 homes were raided for civil violations, like unpaid parking tickets, city ordinance violations where the fines had not been paid, and such.
I am accustomed to seeing the gang style tactics used by my local police to carry out the tasks of raiding people's homes.
Where I used to live a raid took place across from my home, and the police did not care about the civilians all around, myself, and grandson encluded..
I am afraid to make this posting, but I really want to know if it is happening anywhere els

Those companies make millions of dollars a year. Im sure they could afford to pay their workers 20 dollars an hour if they wanted to.

No nasty comments-just be realistic and honest in your reasons why they should stay or go back home.

A person can only be on unemployment for so long. After a few month a person is kick off unemployment and is no longer listed as unemployed. But that person is still unemployed they are just not counted by the government. So that would make the current unemployment rate incorrect? Right?

They serve no general purpose. They take advantage of our Country in many ways. Diplomatic Immunity is a farce,.

Before anyone jumps and says... oh another bleeding heart, anti-american liberal (LOL), let me say 1st that I participated in Gulf War 1 & I am a proud LIBERAL. I really don't care what ppl call me but I state that in order to make it clear that this is a serious question.

With that said, I opposed the war from day 1. With Gulf War 1, one of our allies had been occupied and we should and did help them. I never felt and still don't believe we had any business occupying Iraq.

But, now that we have created complete havoc over there, what do we do? My first impulse is to say... stay and try to fix it the best we can because we are the ones who made the mess. Then I think of how many ppl are dieing.

So, what if it doesn't get any better with more and more Americans dieing? I mean seriously, do we bail or stay? We now know the reasons we went there were false but now we have made a mess.

I just don't know.... I don't want more Americans dieing but I also don't want to surrender.

what is it that you plan to ask of congress and how long do you think it will take to implement it? (will it take a whole term, or way after your term?) What has to start at home other than recylcing.

I feel as though Democrats want to keep Americans under their control. They appear to reject the principal of " America, land of the free" and Land of opportunity. I feel oppressed when Democratic America tells me that I cannot work hard and smart and make a lot of money and create wealth to leave to my children upon my death. They want to tax me and my wealth to beyond hurt when they want to tax my earned wealth once a die and leave a small share to my family. When I die I want my family to keep my business going and keep it in the family. A huge tax on my wealth when I die would mean dissolving the business I worked for all my life, and to pay the government a RAPE fee for dieing. RAPE because I feel that this is precicely what they are doing to me and my family's assets. I believe I paid my share during my living years to earn my place as an American. Paying Death Taxes is RAPE.

Why do so many Amerricans tollerate this abuse ? Why aren't more Americans fighting to be Free?

How does the knowledge that the "almighty dollar" is the influence behind the election of the next political power motivate one to become a registered voter? Today in the 21 Century, voting is bullshit. He who has the most money, or monetary support, will be the winner. 'Nough said.
