Of course it was.
He left a meeting at Camp David and didn't tell anyone where he was going not even the chairman of the joint chiefs. He then secretly flew to Andrews and then Iraq. He also was still giving reporters a false schedule up until last night. Apparently there was a ceremony in the rose garden today according to the "false schedule". Even the Iraqi President didn't know til 5 minutes before hand.

Almost anything ANY president does publicly is arguably a publicity stunt. This one at least included meeting with a fellow head of state and a visit with the troops, which they seemed to appreciate. Consider his predecessor: when scientists mapped the human genome a few years ago, HE had a press conference as if it had been HIS project!

Of course it was. The same as trying to pass an amendment to the constitution to stop same sex marriages. If he'd keep his snotty little nose clean, he wouldn't have to worry so much.

Sure. The weird thing, though, it all the secrecy that his visit was shrouded in.
