This country has Immigration laws on the books already. The laws need to be enforced. I dont believe that we need a constitutional amendment for this issue, some diligent research into the constitution and existing laws would turn up quite a few practical solutions.
My stance on border jumpers? shoot em on site at the border untill there is a wall of decaying bodies built up. use reloaded ammo to save the taxpayers some money. Would you climb over a wall like that? If I had the money and time I would personally escort each and every " ILLEGAL immigrant" criminal every step of the way back to wherever they originated.

It's difficult, but not impossible, to become an american citizen, for good reason. Our social service, legal, and education systems are overburdened by the amount of illegal immigration tolerated ALREADY in this country. The current situation is analagous to "guests" inviting themselves into your home, disregarding YOUR rules/substituting their own, redecorationg, trashing your backyard, raiding your pantry, medicine cabinet, and bank account, and then demanding you continue to cater to them simply because "they're already there", and their own home is already trashed and uninhabitable. I say GO and go throught the legal process that-believe it or not- some people actually DO, because coming here- and staying here illegally cheapens their efforts, and cheapens what it means to be an American citizen.

go back to mexico and apply legally to immigrate here. wait your turn. OR
while you are back in mexico, start a revolt and change your own country to be like USA. after all there are 12,000,000 of you. that is the biggest army in the world and nobody could stop you. get a real democracy in mexico and elect some wise and good leaders . throw out the crooks from office. use your resources wisely. eliminate corruption. educate your people. get health care for them. pay decent wages. build homes. you do not need the frigging gringos.

With politics aside, I still say we should force them to go home. I am tired of being in a car behind their run-down crappy pick-up trucks that are filled with mountains of junk that sometimes falls out, seeing them drive 15 year-old cars- that are virtually falling apart- while playing loud Mexican music at one-thirty in the morning, and I am *VERY* tired of them trying to hold protests under foreign flags at schools. I am also tired of seeing statistics like this one:
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=50441
-Read the whole article, especially when you come to this line: "Not only were victims raped, she said, but some – 6 percent – were mutilated." One million rapes and those mutilations- although that might not seem like a lot-don't even have to happen.

FYI: If they have a problem with their home country, they can come here legally. Some of you people are nuts- do you even know how much money is spent on them?!?

I think that people who want to come to the U.S.A. should do it in the proper, legal manner. The ones that are already here should have to go through the proper channels to become a citizen if they want to stay, if they don't want to do things the right way then they need to be deported. It is only fair to the immigrants that worked hard and became citizens legally.

Look at the definition of Illegal! If you want to come to the states, do ti the right and LEGAL way. I have no problem with immigrants as long as they have a right to be here.

They are ILLEGAL. They should go back home and try to get to this country through the proper channels. We already give citizenship to more immigrants than any other counry in the world.

they should stay. Since when has it been illegal for a resident of Earth to be coming to another country in THEIR world without going through this huge process that takes forever? They aren't doing a thing to us an we should return that favor. WE ARE ALL HUMAN, NO ONE IS ILLEGAL.

i think they should go, we gave amnesty once before which was supposed to stop it lol and it don't see how doing it now will ? mexico is not a poor country it has enough resources to take care of their own but be cause of corruption they choose not to and by sending their teeming masses to our country and us saying ok we are in turn are supporting mexico's corruption that is not a good plan for stopping illegal immigration nor corruption

The Mexican government is lobbying U.S. lawmakers and civic leaders for amnesty or guest-worker status for millions of illegal aliens now in the United States, working through a coalition of U.S.-based immigration rights associations, Mexican-American organizations and grass-roots Hispanic groups.
This growing political alliance, which also seeks expanded education and health care benefits for Mexican nationals in this country, along with additional programs for labor, community development and access to services, is led by the Institute for Mexicans Abroad, also known as the Instituto de los Mexicanos en el Exterior.
Known by the Spanish acronym IME, the institute was created by presidential decree and reports to a counsel of Mexican government officials headed by President Vicente Fox as a branch of Mexico's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It has called U.S. immigration reform a major priority, recommending policy changes that respect "the needs and rights" of Mexican nationals living and working in this country.
now what do you say stay or go my vote go for the love of god and country go

Go. I am all for people coming to America for whatever reason... but they are breaking laws in coming here illegally. They should have to go through all processes every other immigrant goes through to live in America.
