Those companies make millions of dollars a year. Im sure they could afford to pay their workers 20 dollars an hour if they wanted to.

The problem is major major, let me say again MAJOR, propaganda against a union. I used to work for IBM as an engineer (not even affected by a union btw being salaried) and man even if someone was accused of using the 'U' word, they were somehow mysteriously fired.

If anyone even mentions a union the propaganda KINGS come out in full force.

I wish there would be a massive union spread throughout this country. It would save the good parts of this declining capitalist society.

They could if the wanted too pay 20 an hour but they dont want to the walton family is worth a lot one of the sons is worth 18 mil.. they are so greedy that last year for a fundraiser or something they donated 5 grand the employees did like 1 mil.. They hate the union so much they plant bugs in the lunch rooms have a no union truck a private plane with pepole in black suits walk in and take over if anyone says anything about a union. they pay less money to women and promote their women less often as men. they are cheap cheap cheap. and they wont unionize cuase theyd have to listen to the rules better health care, minimum wage or more etc. their are more reasons on this but i forgot them (u can rent the movie at hollywood video i think)

Because Walmart, a multi-Billion dollar corporation that sucks money from cities, causing a dollar drought, doesn't want a union,

And Repubs hate them as well! They might have to start to PAY people A LIVING WAGE!

Heaven forbid. Then they couldn't B___ about the poor!

First, any group is free to try to unionize. There have been some attempts which have failed. By the way, how much would you pay for a Big Mac, if the unions took over?

I think the employees are the ones who have to unionize, not the government or laws or anything like that. I think unions have tried, at least at WalMart more than once. The employees just aren't interested.

If they had union representation the workers would have to receive a living wage, and fair benefits. This situation would cause the corporation's profits to be reduced.

I'm guessing that it's because the pay rate would go up and we could not keep getting good deals. I'm not saying it's fair however, unions take advantage as far as pay goes.

Not everyone likes unions, not everyone likes what unions stand for. Both consumers and companies alike have many reasons to dislike the unions.

I for one, hope that more organizations de-unionize.
