Of course he got away with it. No matter what happened, GW would have pardon the creep anyway. I beleive that Karl Rove and Cheney were directly involved and should be tried for treason.

There was never a "leak" of identity! The woman was a desk jockey at the CIA, NOT an undercover operative. The law does not even apply here. The one arrest was about lying to the investigators (basically what Martha Stewart was nailed on). Rove is innocent on this one, at least.

Karl Rove may have been the leaker, but he is not the one who authorized the leak!! His initials are GB!
Rove, a savvy political appointee, is going to leak a CIA operatives name without permission? I am not that stupid!

a person who walks in the front door of CIA HQ on a daily basis can hardly be called a covert agent.
Joseph Wilson and Valerie Plame have done nothing but profit big-time from this incident. It is they who should be investigated.

From what I understand, she wasn't covert. It's not illegal to talk about those who aren't undercover. Even if she had been, she wasn't when this all happened. And nobody said her name until the media got into it. Just another attempt by the left to blemish the executive office.
