My ball python is 6 years old and we've never had any problems with him. One morning when checking on him I noticed these blister looking sores on his back. They dried after a couple of days and then he shed. Now they are white spots with red veins and tonight he started moving strangely. Just wondering is there anything I can do until I can get him to the vet? Or has anyone ever experienced this. I have surfed for some answers but haven't found much info on what causes this condition or what to do about it. Serious answers only please.

I assume they don't poison them, since that would likely be a problem for the snakes that eat them. Starving them would be inhumane and would also make them a pretty poor meal. So, how do they do it?

We just got another juvinile corn snake on Saturday. On Sunday she ate two pinkies, and today she was held a little too much because we thought since the mouse lumps were gone it would be ok. She threw up one of them a few hours later, but I havn't seen the other one. She is still strong and acting normal. Does she need a vet? or should we just feed her another tomorrow?

Its been five days since his last poop and he's eaten over a dozen crickets! I'm really worried that there is something wrong with him. I've checked his rectum area and there does not appear to be any crust or discoloration. And I gave him a warm bath about an hour ago. He seems to be pretty happy for the most part, but I'm really worried! Please help!

Okay, so i've been thinking about getting a turtle latetly, there are MANY things i'd like to get cleared out before I adopt one. I need to prove to my mom that I've researched on turtles so it doesn't die within the first week like all of my tank animals (my dog's the only animal that's lived) Here are some questions I have

-In a house (Suburban), what kind of turtle is the best to get?
-Should I get a water turtle or one that lives on land?
-How much does an average turtle cost?
-What do they eat, what are their eating habits, how often should I feed them
-What kind of tank should I get? How big? Should it include water? and how much does a tank cost on average?
-What is the average lifespan of turtles?
-Do turtles bite? If so, does it hurt/need to be treated if you're bitten?
-Do turtle's carry disease?
-Do turtle's need another animal to live with? Are they social creatures?
How big do average house turtles get?
I have a dog, will it try and eat it? Can the get along?
-What kind of tempretures should they live in?
-Do they need exercise?

I'd appriciate it if proffesionals provide me with the correct answers

Also is there anything else that I need to know that's important that I haven't asked?

If you could answer ALL the questions I asked that would be greatly appriciated thank you so much.

Hi. I want some type of snake. First i thought i might want a garter snake. Then i found out that they can escape from almost any little hole. Then I thought about a red tailed boa, but they are too big. Is there a snake i could get thats bigger than a garter, but much smaller than a red tailed boa? Please help!! Thank you.

I have a 3+ yr old female beardie. Not sure on her age because my husband bought her from a student of his. She's always been a lemony colored girl, but over the last couple of weeks (2-3), I realize her beard is always black. Normally, it would only become black if she were worked up about something. Has anyone else noticed this in their dragons? Thanks!
