Most turtles and tortoises LOVE canned cat food, which is OK as a treat. Put the pill in it. Water turtles need to eat in the water, but the cat food should be put on a rock or somewhere out of the water (so as not to disperse, loose the meds and make a mess of your water). The turtle will grab it and pull it under.

For most aquatic turtles, break it up and jam it into worms or bits of beef heart, etc.
For most tortoises and box turtles, crunch it up and put it in or on the fruit.
Also consider asking the vet if there is a liquid version of the drug. You can drip it onto the fruits or use a small syringe to inject it into the worms, etc.

This is what I did for my frog, and I bet it will work for a turtle: take a spoon and turn it over so the bowl part is facing the floor. Hold your turtle by the shell in one hand and GENTLY slide the spoon in between his "lips" until his mouth opens, then have someone else slide the pill in through the opening. Hopefully he will swallow as a reflex, but if he spits it out, try again.

Don't force it on him, put it in his food. If he is clever enough to eat around it, crush it up and put it in his food. If he won't eat the food, put it in whatever you use as extra-special foody treats that he cannot resist. Without knowing what kind of terrapin you possess, I don't know what that treat is, but search for his species online, and I'm sure you will find something special that will drive him wild.

we used to give pills to our pet iguana and we just had to open his mouth and shove them down his throat. call you vet and see if you can break the pill into smaller pieces and feed it to him mixed in with his favourite treat first.
