If I even consider this happening what kind of snake would be good for him and how bad does it hurt when he gets bit. Maybe that will be the determining factor for him. I have never been bit by one so I could not tell him. Do you think it is a good idea and if so what kind of snake should I look for? I did see one in the pet store where my wife does her aquirium at called a Albino Python I think was the whole name that kind of looked cool. But they were small how big do they get? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

I bought a California Kingsnake about 4 or 5 weeks ago. It is almost 2 feet long. During the first two weeks of me having it, it was just fine and it never tried to bite me or do anything harmful. I would hold it a lot and play with it for about an hour every day. During that first week, I could tell that he was very hungry. I feed him a pinkie mouse once every 6 or 7 days. Just about a week ago before i fed him, i tried to pick him up and he bite me. Ever since then, he has been doing the same thing and becoming more and more vicious. I know that he istrying to bite at me because he is hungry, but i don't want to over feed him. What should i do to calm my snake down?

I just got a leopard gecko and forgot to put the lid back on his cage... He has been missing for 3 days now and we searched everywhere for him. We have tried to put a heating pad on the floor, tipping his tank side ways, and even left out meal worms for him to eat. I have searched the entire room and under the refridgerator and stove... we really have looked almost everywhere... any suggestions on how we can just make a trap for him?

I'm getting a chinese water dragon and I need to know how large of a tank I am going to need to be getting. Should I get a smaller one when its is still small and then a larger one as it grows or just a large one to begin with? I have heard that a 100 gallon tank is good. How large is this in feet, or inches? Should it be taller or wider?

They know when they get big they are gonna let them loose. One was in our town! They get loose and breed with others and soon we have a lot. I think they should fine and jail every owner who let's a big dangerous snake loose. That's not responsible ownership and that's putting other people at risk because of your ignorance. Weren't these animals ment to be wild anyway?

My son is 10 days old and Im breast feeding but Ive had to give him bottle aswell as it doesnt fill him up. He's hungry every 3 hours, so he has an hour on my breast, then when it hurts too much I fill him up with a bottle, and he'll drink between 3 and 4 ounces. Is this normal? Why does he need so long on the breast?
