we got a tortoise 4 day ago and it lives in the garden we couyld find it each day so yesterday i saw it like a little before we couldnt find it but then when we came to look for it it wasnt there usually it walkes around a little in a small area of the garden we looked in the plants and nothing ill look today again but how can we coax it to come out it doesnt know where its eating spot is yet cause its been here so little days so it has to adjust so how can we get it to come out

Buying horses?
I'm in love with a 14.2 hh grey mare.shes had a troubled background and ive had he on loan for about 1 year and i broke her in etc etc .And now shes for sale and i relly want her but my mum keeps on saying no.Then changing the subject.I'm really scared that is we dont buy her she might go wild again.Help as i love her very very mutch !!

ok, so like 5-6 months ago i had a bunny, he was about 1.5 years old. I dont know if i had given him the proper care or what, but he died. I feel real bad and have learned my lesson but my parents DONT think so. I've had only 1 or 2 animals in the past that depended on my care and i really didnt know what to do and how to do it, i had a hamster about 3 years ago, and she lived for almost 5 years and i cared for it the same way i did the bunny but the bunny did not live. I dont know if it was the care that i wasnt giving him, but i noticed he had a bloody stool a few times a week, and that his testicles were not filled out, and at 1.5 years that didnt seem right, I want to get another pet(guinea pig) but my parents dont think im ready to have another pet, but i think i am and that ive learned my lesson.

When i bring her in from the field, she will not follow me, but pulls away towards the green grass. i am not strong enough to pull her and she is a very bratty mare. any ideas to what i can do because it sounds so easy in text, but when u are actually there it is pretty scary!

I noticed that my bunny has his poops stick to his butt. I know that bunnies produce 2 kinds of poops, and they eat one of the two to help their digestion. What should I know and do to help my bunny to keep his butt clean. Maybe he is overwight and can't bend to eat his poops? I feed him twice a day. Mornings: baby carrots with some greens: lettuce or broccolli or parsley. And for dinner he has 1/3 of a cup of dry food (the one that's not colored).
Please tell me what do I do wrong?

okay, my cat is a hunter. he brought me a mouse with a neck wound. He was still alive and twitching. I picked him up, using a paper towel. i called the vet and dabbed cotten on his wound. I put him in a box.

he was twitching but couldn't get up.

i called my mom, who said the most humane thing to do was give him to the cat. he was suffering too much. I did so, but all the cat did was play with him.

suddenly he squeaked. it broke my heart, and I knew what to do. I asked my dad to end his pain. He was dieing, and suffering so much....I knew he was in shock and probably had several broken bones...

did I do the right thing?

A San Francisco Zoo visitor was mauled to death and two others severely injured when a Siberian tiger named Tatiana escaped from its grotto at the San Francisco Zoo early Christmas evening and went on a bloody rampage in front of terrified zoo patrons. The tiger - the same animal that chewed a keeper's arm during an attack last December - was shot to death outside a zoo cafe by four officers who managed to distract the animal as it mauled one of its victims.
Was Tatiana provoked and used her victim to enable her escape??

length and weight please, my 'little' guy just keeps getting bigger! Also his biting seems to be getting worse, i know he's still a baby and he's teething, but some of his bites are quite agressive, i've tried scruffing and raising my voice, i've had female ferrets who have respoded to this but he seems to retaliate more. should i just keep this up till he gets a bit older?

What happened was is that I always let my Retriever from time to time walk inside of out alley; with our neighbors permission. He basically goes outside to urinate and walk around a bit.

Another one of my neighbors from across the street lets her cats run loose in the street almost every night and they always go back in the house on their own. Well a few nights ago my Retriever basically ripped one of her cats apart, putting it mildly, when the cat came into my alley.

When I had informed the neighbor about what happened she was angry and upset, understandably. Now she calls me up saying she is contacting her attorney about a lawsuit and will see to it that the Retriever is taken away from our home.

I don't know what is involved with "animal court" or "animal crimes" as I am unfamiliar with this. What exactly happens when your pet kills another person's pet? What should I do or prepare for on my part?

I have a 9 month old Mastiff puppy who is a wonderful dog, he isnt vicious and everyone in our neighborhood love and have known him since he was 5 wks old. Yesterday I was at the Park (Dog Legal) and he was swimming in the bay with another dog who is his best bud. Well the other dog ran out into the street and started barking at something which I couldnt see, and I heard screaming. When Screaming started Zen ran over to check things out, and I ran to get him. It was a lady walking her dog. Now the other dog was barking, but I apologized for my dog and called him back, he came right away. Later on that night I walked him to the park for another romp, and the lady called me over and talked to me, she started claiming my dog was vicious {Even though he was sitting and licking her face and she was petting him} She also blamed me for the other dogs behavior. I told her the other dog was not my responsibility, and in short she threatened to use Pepperspray on my Viciousdog next time...
