no, I'm serious. My cat drools when she's really getting lots of love. My sister in laws' cat used to drool big stringers (ick) when she petted that animal.
They only do it when you pet them!

I have one that licks my hands, one that just lies in my lap to let me pet him, and the other one bites and scratches playfully. Neither one of my black cats drool. Maybe he has a crush on you? lol!

My stray silver tabby used to drool all the time, but that's because she had an absessed tooth, so maybe you should have that checked out.
