I am intrested in getting a pet. My parents will NOT let me get a cat, dog, feret, bird, or lizard. I have about $200 to spend for everything(pet, food, cage, anything else it might need) Im completly torn as to what pets I can get that would be good ones. I would like something that didnt bite or smell. Do you know any good pets that fit into this catagory?

Some people love to dress up Fido, Gigi or Fluffy in a frilly little tutu, an adorable jacket, or a costume for Halloween.

Where do you stand on dogs and cats in clothing?

And, I am not talking about putting a sweater on your short-haired little guy on a cold winter's day. I am talking dressing them up for looks/fun.

I'm straight and I own two cats, Homer and Nameless.
I think they are very cool, and I am never mean to them, or to any animals.
Most guys seem to think only gay guys like cats, and a lot of guys I know like to talk about all the cruel things they do or have done to cats and kittens.
It always sickens me.

Am I a weirdo or something?

I have two dogs so he's made my list...and that's not a good thing...I hate it when I see a video of dogs fighting!! It breaks my heart to know that many people enjoy this kind of cruelty and have pleasure in killing or tourturing the loosing dog...

What do u think of horse slaughter?? As i think it is a horrible thing.And who eats horse meat????I know i could not!!!!And i dont know how someone could live with their self after slaughter an animal!!!! I know some might not like this but i could live without all meats!!!!

I have been giving Cleo, my Basengi, a raw egg every morning cracked open into a bowl, throwing the shell away. Now I have a friend who is concerned for my dogs well being because of this. I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant but because at the present I am not working as such, my friend is skeptical of my knowledge. I tell him it is a good source of protien and if nothing else it will help her coat look its best. Please let us know what the trueth is so my friend will feel better.

Hey Everybody, i was just wondering if you would tell me what your pets name and kind of pet it was.
If you have a cat you would say:
Cat-Calico-Princess
I Just want to know. I want to know if ppl name their pets the way I do. If you have multiple animals list them as such_
Pet-breed-name
pet-breed-name
I'll list mine for you:
Cat-Siamese Mix-Roman
Cat-Domestic shorthair-Kittty
Fish-Gold-Squishy
Late Dog-Labrador Retriever Mix-Molly
If your animal is late (passed on) Pit them on here too. Just do what i did, put late then your pet. Thnx!!!!

I am "happy" about pickin my dogs poo up when it fouls on the pavement as i believe it allows to keep the community a nice clean place, but it aggrovates me that horse riders dont pick there horses HUGE mounds of poo up that cover he road for metres.

A fine (althoug patheticaly enforced) is in place for dog fouling... should there not be one for horse fouling)

I work at the Humane Society in my town, and we have 4 major events to raise funds aside from doing the mail appeals. Two of the four events are much more profitable, and A LOT more work of course.
If you have idea's that you believe would make a excellent fundraiser. PLEASE share them. I am looking to "step-up" the current rut we are in and bring more people together and raise some money to expand our shelter.

we have a male dutch rabbit and once in awhile he slams both feet against the bottom of his cage and jumps, making a loud noise, he does it a few times then stops, hes not unhappy or mistreated, ive just wondered why he does this, he did it once when i was yelling out the door for my dog everytime i yelled the bunny would make the slamming noise in his cage, it was funny, but does anyone know what this behavior means?

i have a girl ferret,
she has just come on heat
.i know that i should get her nuetered or mated. but both options are out at the moment.
She has just had serious surgery where she had to have a fair bit of her small intestine removed, because of the amount removed she wasn't expected to live and was in a critical condition for 4 days.
she survived and has just had her stitches removed .
the vet said that they will neuter her now but i don't want to put her through another operation so soon ,ijust got her home'
what i'm wondering has anyone had a female ferret that they didn't get mated or nuetered and was the ferret okay,or is there an alternative solution and is it safe.
i am happy to get her neutered in a couple of months when i feel it want stress her out to much. i do love her ,so whats your advice,

I have an indoor dwarf bunny and i forgot to trim his nails before he ran around the basement and he got some of his nails caught and 2 of them totally ripped off and then theres like 3 that are real close to falling off. I feel absolutely horrible! What do i do???

For instance, I have an ad on petclassifieds and there are ads that others have placed that say, "no scammers please" or "scammers dont reply". How would I know if I am being contacted by a scammer, and what exactly is a scammer? (Esp. when it comes to a pet)
