my rabbit is going to have babies!! what do i do?? how long is she pregnant? what do i do when they are born?? help!!!

Hi everyone,
This is to let everyone know what is going on.
Last week we went to Target in Burbank CA. and bought a 6 pack of Iams canned Dog food. The gravey type. Anyway, after watching the news last night, about the dog FOOD that was making our pets very sick ,
I went up stairs and looked at the cans expiration dates. Guess what???? All of the cans we bought last week had been expired one since 2004 ! Can you believe that?????
We are taking the cans back today to target! PLEASE PLEASE
Check your expirations on the bottom of your canned dog foods!
I never thought about looking at expiration dates on our pets food, since we had just bought them last week.
We had been feeding this dog food to our pregnet dog every morning. Thank God she just gets a little teaspoon for a treat. PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW THAT HAS A PET.....

Anyone know wich cans (the dates or the serial #'s) for the Iams can dog food, i went to the recall site and it said to go to the iams site and the iams site doesnt say anything! What a run-around.

infact what buffoon decided that cat/dog, was a good name.... I think that purrmiaowlick is a far better descriptive name for a cat, and headroundtailend works for dogs. What other names should be given to things, that don't work for what they are...

i have had my male dutch rabbit for about 9 months now and the last few months he jumps around going really out of control for a few seconds banging into things around him and then when he stops, he gets a bleeding nose and pants really fast and goes really floppy and doesnt move for a while until he comes right again. today he was in a basket and he just went silly and banged against my bathroom door and then my bedroom door and fell to the floor. it looks like he has a fit. whats wrong with him???

I was a bit concerned over the recent recall on pet food products. I do buy some of the brands listed, and was glad to find out our cans did not have the same expiration dates as the ones listed on the recall notice. Whew, that was a relief.
Is there a process the food manufacturer follows such as testing their products to ensure their are no contaminants.

my sisters guinea pig isnt doing too well. like i just noticed that it was sitting really still so i gave it fresh water and some celery. its not eating and hardly drinking and my mom noticed some of his bedding in his mouth i think its like pine bedding or something i dont really know and we dont want him to choke on it but i know its making him really weak cause hes not moving just laying there trying to swallow. we cant bring him to the vet right now cause its 2.00 am. and we just want to know if he will be able to eventually swallow it. my sister says that he has already swallowed it but hes still making the swallowing movement. were seriously lost! what should we do!

According to menufoods.com, there was no information concerning the Iams and Eukanuba recall. I have the seriel number of the recalled cans from the Iams website:

If you have a can with the following numbers on the BOTTOM OF THE CAN, please do not feed it to your pet and contact a vet ASAP if symptoms such as vomiting, restlessness, lathargicness, etc occur. Better yet, I would suggest holding off of any of the brands listed for the recall until further notice. For food, I suggest feeding hamburger (non-seasoned) and rice for dogs, as it is gentle on their stomachs and gives them the right nutrition. As for cats, I have no ideas of what to feed.

CAN ID NUMBER: if the second line begins with four numbers from 6339 to 7073 followed by the plant code 4197

I hope this helps any scared pet owners. I know it put me at rest.

he is 5 yrs old and i have only noticed this in the past 2 days. when i changed he litter i noticed no stool but a ton of pee. he has thrown up three times and is not eating. the last time he threw up it was just water :S. he seems to be acting the same as he did before but i have noticed all these things. im at a loss. if nothing changes by tomorrow i think i will bring him to the vet. his name is Max ( maximus the gladiator) and hes my baby, please help.

My dog is my best friend and now they've recalled her food. She eats the GRAVY AND SAUCE type Iams wet foot (green can) mixed with dry food. And now they've recalled it?! Please, does anyone have any additional information about the recal including seriel number? Please, I am freaking out.

my cat eats diet cat food but she gains weight. but my dog esats it half the time and i dont no if the cat or the dog eats it so i put in more. but my dog probly doesnt no which food is hers because she is blind, deaf, cancer 4 6 years, arthritis and other problems. Also i need help with a good way to get my dad to put down the dog because she is 15 and is obvioulsy not happy but i hate her so my dad think i just want her gone but she is unhappy friends and family all say its time but my dad says she is still happy, yeah when he is home, but he is at work all day, when she goes out every 5 minutes think (i need 2 go out) ( i was just out. bark) 5 minutes later ( i need to go out ) (i was just out. bark) and she cant get up the stairs so i have to help her up every 5 minutes because she is a retarded dog. so i need help with the cat food problem, the telling the dad thing and if question 2 fails, assaination of my dog. I will resort to that if she is still here in 2 years. thank you...
