Thats a really good post.. thanks for posting it. As for my dogs food being on the list it isn't. she eats prescription food from the vet.

I have no clue but my dog did vomit after eating some IAMs pouch food last week. But I only bought 2 pouches. He was a tad sick for a day or 2 but he has recovered without a trip to the vet. Go to fda.gov for the list of brands effected. The number on the cans (dry food is not involved) is listed at the individual sites.

that seems like to long of a list to be correct. i dont know where that website came from but I would be calling the # on the bag of dog food you bought. before believing that list.

We have been feeding our German Shepherds the Nutro and the Eukanuba brands thinking we were feeding them "the best".
Well I now have one of the shepherds very sick, the other two seem okay, but one died in September, only 5 DAYS AFTER GETTING VERY VERY SICK.
I now wonder if our choice of premiun dog food killed our beloved Misha. This thought is totally unbearable.

No, my cats eat Whiskas, and my dogs eat Purina. Thank goodness!!
