If you could own any animal, free of charge, in the world what would you pick? It can be from any species, continent, exotic animals included, etc..

Assume the animal is trained to be human friendly & safe (for example, assume rattle snakes, tigers, etc... would be 100% safe for you to own).

My rat she is bleeding from under her tail and is breathing really hard, she wont look up at me or come to the side of the cage. Whats wrong! I cant get in contact w/ the vet so i dont know what to do!!

I have 2 wonderful bunnys that i love 2 dealth. I came home yesturday 2 find my shirt with 2 huge holes in the front! The day b4 i had let my rabbits out 2 play and realized they were guilty.
This isnt just any shirt that i can just go buy i new 1. this is my coustom made shirt 4 my school council. they wont make me a new 1 and i have pictures next week! The material where they ate it is like a fabric paint. is theyre anything i can do 2 patch it up?? PLEASE HELP

My hamster likes crackers, carrots, broccoli, and other vegetables. I am sure the vegetables are fine but what about crackers? She likes the wheat saltine crackers.
My hamster WILL NOT eat any hamster food I buy. What is wrong with her?
I did not start feeding this stuff to her right away. It was only after weeks of her barely eating and going nuts from hunger.

I would like a pet that is loving, friendly, playful, and "trained". By trained I mean -I can let it go in the house and it wont go try to hide and run from me.- Not a dog or cat. Something like a rabbit or ferret. Any suggestions?

I bought a rabbit for my little boy a week ago and its poo's have been normal i have been giving it dried food carrots and hay.Untilyesterday i gave it broccolli it has runny watery poo's it is alert and i am keeping its cage clean.It is approx 8 weeks old do you think it needs checking by a vet it is the first time eating greens and the pet shop told me not to give it but my son done it.also how do i clean its bottom as its quite messy. i want ur opinions. i was given a registered quarter horse(under my name as owner) by my mom when i first got into high school. i trained him and competed on him for several years. when i started working(11th grade) at a vet clinic, i did not have time to ride so my mom leased him out to a vet i knew. my mom got the money. a year later she took the horse from me and claimed that i traded him for a unregistered horse. i didnt trade, i bought the unregistered mare from her(paid cash, big mistake). she then took the horse and sold him. its been a few years since then but i tracked down the horse and and tried to buy him back(he was for sale) but the woman was good friends with my mom and for three months she fought with me on the price and claimed he was sold, then would get in a bind and want to sell him. over and over until my boss called the tramp and told her to sell him to me or stop calling and putting me threw hell. i did get him back but when i got the papers they were forged

i have two male gerbils (8 and a half weeks old) i have had them since 4 weeks old ( i have the parents and they adapted fine)When i first put them together alone in the cage they were in a CritterTrail , but then when i saw they were fine with out there mom , i took the parents back to the pet store ( accidental litter )
So when they were gone i used some tubes to attach my two boys' cage to the aquarium. But now my Boys keep fighting and\or roughly playing when they go into the aqurium! and now i was holding one and i saw that some the hair behind his ear was missing! I am scared they are going hurt each other! what do i do?
added info:
- I tryed letting them "settle it out" but its not working....
-they have had acsess to the aqurium for 3 weeks
-they dont SEEM to be very bonded but they sleep together
-they are generally tame to me
-PLEASE DONT SAY TO SEPARATE THEM OR TO TAKE OUT
THE AQURIUM IF THERES OTHER THINGS I COULD DO!!!!!!
-they "squabble" ALOT

well,we all know that tortoise are vegetarians....they eat apples which contain fiber, vitamin A,C & D, calcium etc...pears contain fiber, protein, iron, vitamin A & C etc...bananas contain fiber, folic asid, potassium, vitamin b6 etc..
carrots contain calcium, vitamin A,B,C,D,& E, fiber, carotene etc...and cabbage contain minerals, calcium, vitamin A,B1 & B2 etc...but what i really want to know is above all that nutrients it contain....what does it really do to the tortoise's body ??? pls help....i'm doing a project about tortoise and i find this question difficult as i know nothing about tortoise...i've done some research but it does not say much about it...so i'm hoping maybe someone could give me an idea or help me with this question ?? i will appreciate it so much...thanks ....

Okay, i know its childish but i want to convince my mum to let me get a puppy. Ive already told her about some pros and cons, but i need some more to back me up. So please tell me stuff like, if it digs up the garden, what can i do to stop it or stop it from happening? in the backgrnd..which I wished to god i NEVER overheard.But this guy was bragging how he had shot 2 cats that live in a barn in the head and said "It was perfect." My jaw dropped. I quickly left in shock w/my heart at the bottom of my stomoch. I was so appalled about the wah he bragged about this. That i called him back on my cell and called him a murderer. and that i was reporting him to the humane society. We just my word vs his ( which he will probably deny) is there anything legal i can do? Those poor innocent kittys. I love cats i have a cat i rescued. and i imagined this guy shooting him in the head. I bawled all teh way back to teh store. And when i arrived the my shift leader was on the phone w/this guys gf. and she was complaining how she felt violated that i * overheard* there convo! I may get fired over this. Can u believe it. I just want this person to have sum kind of punishment. Anyone know the legalities of a situation like this . Please help. Can they fire me?

she didnt leave me not even a vase to remember her by... do you think she didnt like me? i love animals but i wouldnt give everything i own to them when i die when i know theres little ones who i love who can use a good start in life.... she once said she respected animals more then humans because they have unconditional love... but in the end i kinda feel like she must have liked the dogs more then she liked me if since she did that . what do you guys think?
