i have been wanting to buy a bengal cat and an italian greyhound and or a maltese and some other pets as soon as i buy myself a new house. because they are my favourite breeds and after lot of research i have concluded it has to be them. i also wanted to own some exotic pets and have some rodents, hamsters and rabbits. and some birds..
but does anyone know of anybody who can co-exist with a house full of animals.or am i going to make a fool of myself in the bargain..i have owned pets all my life ...just not together.

I have a American Quarter Horse who is 18 and full of potencial. I bought her in August of 06. We are perfect for each other and have a great bound. But my question is, is can I jump her and how high? She seems as if she has been shown in english. And I took her over a jump that was 12 inches tall and she went over it fine. Do you think we could jump higher? the reason why I am asking is because of her age and the breed.

I don't understand this whole PETA opposes pets thing. They sound like they don't want animals to be pets but then there is a section on their website that talks about owning pets. I'm confused. Can someone please clarify this for me? I've seen a lot on petakillsanimals.com and other websites about how extreme and corrupt they are, but is it true? Below is a link to the page where they talk about having pets.

I found one in country supply(horse.com) that I like and its only $600. I want the saddle for my standardbred who Is my trail/trick horse (he can lay down and sit like a dog and bow) so I need something comfy. I'm looking for a western saddle thats cheap like the one I saw in the catalog and because I dont show western I dont need a fancy saddle just sturdy.

my real question is :
1)have you ever gotten a saddle out of a catalog?? or online?
2)was it what you thought it would be??
3)If I ride in it and it doesnt fit me or the horse or its uncomfortable will they take it back??

My hamster recently died & I was going to get another one. But, then I saw dwarf rabbits at the pet store & thought I might try something new. I don't know much about dwarf rabbits. I'm just starting to look into it.

Here are some of my questions:
1. How long do dwarf rabbits live?
2. Will a dwarf rabbit be comfortable in an old hamster cage?
3. How often do I clean the cage?
4. Will the cage start to smell in my small apartment?
5. Is it better to have a male or female? Does it matter?
6. Do dwarf rabbits bite?
7. How bad do they shed?
8. Can I leave a dwarf rabbit by itself for 9 hrs a day in the cage?
9. Can I leave a dwarf rabbit by itself overnight?
10. I live by myself. Will he be mean when people want to meet him?

Any other advice when considering a dwarf rabbit?

My Female guinea pig keeps pooping and peeing in her food bowl. Everytime she does this it messes up the food and i have to keep dumping it out and putting more in there. Ive been trying to put the food on the floor of the cage lately but it gets scattered around. I wouldnt be suprised if the pellets were making the cage stink too. Its annoying and a waste of perfectly good guinea pig food. What should i do?

I have been leasing a 21 year old Tennesee Walker and he is amazing. He neck reins, stops, no bad habbits, maintains weight and is not on any senior diets or supplements. His feet are great and I have no complaints. I am a new rider and this horse has tons of energy and has helped me build up confidence. Should I buy a horse this old? Also, I have been told that high withers are a sign of old age, is that true?

What would happen if I gave my dog cat nip? I'm just curious, I don't plan on it or anything. I've never given it to my cats, so I just wanted to know what would happen. And what EXACTLY does cat nip do to cats? I've heard 2 different stories. One will mellow them out, like pot does to people, and the other is it will hype them up. Is it one or the other, or is it both??

And no smart-@ss answers plz!
