which animal do you like better?

I'm torn between both. I love cats because they are independent and clean and very sweet but I love dogs because they are so loyal and playful and give such unconditional love. Dogs are always happy to see you and love being with you.

That's a toss up.
I love dogs, because they are so loyal, and very easy to train, usually. They're cute, and I love their cold noses.
Cats are actually smarter then dogs, but seem stupid, only because they choose what they want to learn, and what they don't. They's cute too, but only for a while. The older they get, the less cute they are. Cats are very loveable, sometimes to loveable. They can get into your space alot, and most times, they don't leave you alone for attention. Cats keep themselves clean, but they have that nasty @ss litter box.
Dogs like attention too, but they won't rub all over your face, when you're trying to sleep, for attention like MY cats do! But dogs can also get into your lap, especially when they're to big to fit. Dogs go potty outside which is great, but then you have to give them a bath every so often. Which is better then cleanig a stinky litte box every day!!
Dogs are hunters of large animals, like other dogs, cats and squirrels. Cats hunt things like snakes, mice, bugs, and very seldomly, dogs.
All in all, I'd have to say that I like dogs better. Mainly because they leave you alone when you want them to, and you can put them outside on a chain when you're trying to clean, you can teach them tricks that a cat usually won't learn, and because they're funnier then cats.
I had a cat who thought it was a dog; hanging it's head out the window on car rides, he went camping, fishing, and swimming with us. He wouldn't go IN the water, but he'd lay on the beach and catch some sun.
Then I had a dog who would sit around and clean it'self all day, and used the litter box.

Dogs, cats are too tempermental for me and I dont like that most cat's I've had or been around are only affectionate on their terms. I do like cats, just prefer dogs.

I don't have a preference, I love them both. My dog used to sneak around like a cat and my cat plays and acts liek a dog, so I really can't choose....lol

I prefer cats but I also like dogs. Cats are clean, quiet independent and are very good company.

My house is definitely about cats:) They are great I love them and although I prefer them to dogs I don't think 1 is better than the other because their bottom line is love.They love you and because of that its impossible to say 1 is better than the other....

Dogs. I like someone who is always willing to cuddle with me on the couch, follow me everywhere, and give me doggy kisses in the morning.

Dogs, preferably an A. bulldog. They are extremely loyal, and will protect you from anything no matter what.
