Yet these people who come in and complain are the ones who stand there at the windows and bash on the doors and scream at them? These are also the people who come in a scream at other customers-people who love their animals, when they are trying to buy something? What do people think this is going to prove? Your not only going to give my animals a headache and get them stress- oh and hold on cause they are stressed they get sick. But these people are also giving my customers a headache- don't know about you but when I'm shopping I want to talk to the sales person particularly if I want animal products- There is so much involved with these products!!! Sorry if this is not you but this happens too often and I thought this woud be a great place to share it and see the respose!

I dont have mice in my house. But there is a little hole downstairs which leads to the outside and my friend has been seeing a little mouse running around her house and now she is sick with a stomach ache and fever. Could she just be sick or could have that mouse made her sick? Her house is very clean he somehow got in from behind the sink

On Christmas eve my horse was going crazy in the turn out and took a turn too fast and too sharp, he tripped himself and fell HARD. He got up, cantered and trotted around like nothing happened and he wasn't even off on it when he totted. I ran in and felt his leg, no bleeding no swelling (yet). It didn't hut him (yet). I took him out and ran water on it for about 20 minutes. I came back the next day and there was swelling I gave him bute for 3 days in a row the swelling went down because of the bute. But when i took him off the bute he was headbobbing lame. So i gave it to him that night and then no more since. Now the past few days i have felt it and he has a sack of swelling around it that feels like water in a plastic bag. I ask my trainer to look at it today and she called the vet and he told her that he could have chipped something on his bone. But wouldn't he be lame on it? Which he isn't! It's on his stifle. Should I ride him or wait fo the vet to come in a week?

Hey Everyone :)
I was just wondering how I could help animals in need. I am only 13 years old and some places say that I am too young but I think that is kind of "un-fair". I mean I know quite a bit about different animals and I would love to help them. I would do ANYTHING. Cleaning cages, walking dogs,...etc... I live in Australia, Sydney. So if you know any clinics like RSPCA that would "hire" me that would be great. Plus I don't care if I am paid or not. Thx for your help everyone!

My rabbit, Cocoa, has not been making regular bowel movements. She ran out of her regular alfalfa pellets, and I have been feeding her apples. The last time she ate an apple, she made poopies with no problem. She's not acting any different, she seems to be drinking her water, and has been putting out very few pellets for the past few days. Any suggestions?

I went on vacation for about a month and had no other choice but to leave my hamster with a friend who has a cat. I asked her to keep my hamster in a separate room and not let the cat in. I just got my hamster back and she is not acting the same. She barely comes out of her den, she doesn't seem to be eating (she also seems skinnier), she's not her normal friendly, curious self and she's always on alert when she is out and about. I figured this was because she was in a different environment but I now found out that my friend's boyfriend would often leave the door to the room open and the cat would sit on top of the cage I guess trying to get at her.

Is there anything I can do to help her destress? What should I do if she doesn't start eating again? Should I just give her time and hope she realizes she's safe again?

One thing I know, I'll never have her in a house with a cat again.

Alright I'm not scared of mice, just mice that aren't in a cage! Allow me to explain. I moved into my apartment a couple months ago. There was no problem at that time. But we later learned that the pervious tenants were very angry about being kicked out, so they released their fancy mice in the house. The mice started breeding. have caught 6 of the little buggers. But I'm starting to get scared of them. They were running across my feet, (kid you not), one of them jumped up at me. All of this always happens first thing in the morning, they are the craziest mice I've ever seen. And they are on to me catching them (lol). Conspiring against me, only coming out at night, ignoring mouse traps, making little scuttling noises across my bedroom floor while I'm sleeping (hardwood floors) I'm not sure what to do. Help advice please! Also I can't stand the sight of them dead I get filled with guilt. I know stupid. My guys in Iraq so I can't have him come over & take care of it for me! HELP!
