M'kay, I'm raising this little baby mouse that I got to feed to my gecko (He didn't eat it) and I'm wondering if anybody has some advice. I'm feeding him every two hours with milk mixed with cream, and he's eating well. He's got soft, filky fur, is going to the bathroom by himself, and his eyes just opened. Any advice on what I could do to better care for him?

I took my female rabbit to the vet cause she is running a fever and not eating or drinking and the vet gave me the medicine Doryclychin,(i think thats what it is cause of real sloppy cursev writing on the bottle). He gave it to me and also gave me a dosing syringe and told me to chop up the pill and put it in the syringe with 2 cc of water and dose it to her threw her mouth. Anyways if u have a rabbit u will know that it can be very hard to even find her mouth much less dose her without her spitting it all up, so my question is simple, can i stick the syringe up her butt(JOKE) and it act as a supporisitory without any harm on her and it actually work?

oh yeah, i guess doryclychin is an antibotic.

I just bought a rat and a hamster within 2 days of each other. I'm trying to tame both of them so I was wondering which method works better- handeling them for long periods, a few times a day.....or handeling them for short periods, several times per day?

(thanks in advance for any answers but if you dont like rodents....dont bother answering just to tell me that)

Hi, I have a cute lil' hamster named Butter Nut. Although she is cute I have two problems:
1.Whenever I open her cage to give her a quick scratch on the back or to give her food she runs and hides in her tube. I have tried to be quiet, but she just obviously doesn't like me.
2. She likes to bite. Although she doesnt draw blood it still hurt rather badly. I always wash my hands before I stick my hand in the cage. And if she doesn't run away at first she will bite then she will run away. Also the times that I can get her out she will bite my hands. I have also changed the soap that I use on my hands to see if she just liked the taste of the other soap, but needless to say she still bites. Just to give you more details I don't put any lotion or touch any of her food before I put my hand in her cage. Once again I think she just doesn't like me.

Please help I love Butter Nut very much, but I would not like her to be ignored due to her bad biting habbit.

I'm in a state that's had a facility recently quarantined. Our bran mgr just made it mandatory everyone get Rhino booster shots. I'm a bit concerned about the type of vaccine and if it can aggrevate symptoms in 'carrier' horses.

Also, please share if you've personally experienced an outbreak and seen horses survive/ die from this.

I understand the necessary measures in preventing spreading (bleach, clothing changes, etc.) I'm looking for those w/1st hand experience in treating horses (first symptoms, treatment, success/ recovery/ usefulness after infection, etc.)

Thanks.

Like I said, her barn name is Loulou. She is a Canadian Draft/Thoroughbred cross, a reddish bay w/ no markings, very correct jumper. About 8 years old.

For about the past 2-3 weeks, it looked like the hamster had been wet (looked like sweating all the time). Well the hamster has died. What could have been the cause. It has been eating alot of fruit lately, but what we have found on the internet said that fruit and veggies were good for them. The hamster continued to play alot up until its death and nothing out of the ordinary was noted except the wetness.

My baby Guinea Pigs are a little stinky. I've heard you can bathe them with (human) baby wipes. I tried yesterday evening and they started squealing and acting scared.
