i had purchased a duckling and two weeks later i woke up and it was fine walking around and everything. but i went downstairs for breakfast and left it in its cage and came back up maybe an hour later. he was laying there.. still alive but not able to stand up. we made the bathroom as warm as we could but it wouldnt eat or drink anything. about 30-45min he was gone. what could have caused this? was there anything that i should have done to prevent this?

i have a 10yr old quarter/arabian/thouroghbred. she is very gentle on the ground and with begginer riders. I am a advanced rider and everytime i tack her up and try to get up on her she start rearing up and trying to bite at my feet when i finally get up on her. I have had her for about 3 1/2 yrs now and she has just started this habbit about 3 months ago. i have tried everything i could think of from a new saddle, new bridles, whips and everything else. She only does it with me, because my friend will ride her and my friend is a begginer rider and my horse will accept her without any problem. i would like to stop this problem because i dont want to sell her because this summer i am planning to do rodeo and she is the fastest horse around here. so if you could help me plzz give me some edvice please. thank you so much!!

My wife and I were discussing this and I could not give her the answer she wanted as I don't know the history of why "Kennels" are called Kennels. So I thought I would throw this question over to the wise lot at Yahoo Answers.surely a kennel historian visits these pages. Just in case a question such as this does arise.

I saw one on the news, and I immediately fell in love with the idea of a dog-sized rabbit. Unfortunately, it seems that the giant breed's taken the internet by storm, and whenever I search google to find a breeder's website I get news articles or urban legend sites.
Does anybody know where I could possibly find a breeder's website, prefferably in the USA?

Also, for anybody who has no clue what I'm talking about, check this out. =)

My 2 male dwarf hamsters, about 6 months old were fighting for about a week, then one got really violent and badly scratched the other, so i took the violent one out and had to buy a new cage for it, but the new cage is different to the other and he doesn't like it. He stays in his little sleeping area all the time, he is hardly eating at all and drinks very little. He was shy when i first got him but he then became less shy and have recently been able to hold him without him struggling, but now in his new cage, if i put a hand in he runs away scared of me, he has changed so much in his personality and i'm worried if he carries on like this he'll die, please can somebody give me some advice as i am so worried about him! Thanks a lot
