Thanx for the answers! Thought Id add that she has no other markings {zebra stripes, shoulder stripes ect} and that she is half Arab. {they are known to carry a 'false' dun color.} Does that mean she is or isnt a dun?????

It sounds like she is a dun. Duns can have black manes and tails but are characterized by zebra stripes on the legs and a dorsal strip down the middle of the back. If she doesn't have the stripes (sometimes very faint) then it could be that she is not a true dun and probably couldn't be registered as one, but for the sake of argument I would say that she is a dun (obviously seeing her might change my mind, but this is what it sounds like to me).

Maybe this will help...

Buckskins are very similar to duns but do not have a dorsal stripe. Sounds like you have a dun.
