Since one of my employees dropped them off and I have no where else to place them, how long will they survive before I have to do something else with them, like place them outside in the middle of an ice storm that we are in the middle of. I can't help the employees stupidity

50 degrees is not that cold (but it may stress the ferrets if they were used to being in a nice warm house). avoid cedar chips however-they give of noxious fumes that can cause repiratory problems in small animals.

Why don't you just take them to the animal shelter, if your employee dropped them off and you don't want them? They may have fur, but I would bet they have been inside and even 50 degrees is cold when you are used to 75 or so.

No .....anyone that stupid to put a poor helpless Innocent animal in a freezer like room should be reported !!
