If you ride in the Hunters, in your opinion what is the best horse to use. I think thoroughbreds are best because they have a naturally elegant look to them that always catches a judges eye, plus they are light on their feet, which gives them that floaty pace judges love. Most TB's have great form over fences too. Give reasons for whichever breed you say is best.

My 3 year old horse just had to undergo surgery for sand colic and i was wondering what works best to prevent future occurances. He is fed off the ground but the entire area i live in is always sandy. Does sand clear work or is there something better out there?

My hamster is doing everything to escape. It has a glass cage which is the most secure kind but its almost tall enough to jump up to the top. We put stuff on top of the cage but it might bite through it and the wires. HELPPPPPPP!!!!!!

okay, so my sisters hampsters just, like literally just, had hampster babys. and we were wondering, do male dwarf hampsters eat male hampster babys? we also need 3 or more hampster baby names? well, if you give us good names, just think about it, your hampster names on our hampsters! and, if you give us just the right names, then you will be chosen as best awnser. thanks for your help!

He's 2 and 1/2 yrs old. We are thinking of buying him in the new year. Waiting for the riding coach to have a look, then get him vetted.

This behavior has started about a week ago. He charges and throws his head constantly at my mare. They have been together for 4 years. Today he charged me and started to push me in the back. A corrective pop on the nose stopped the pushing but not head tossing. I had to put a halter on to control him. Today I used a curb chain, which I hate to use and walked him for 10 minutes, as well as, a 30 minute ring workout. He had his head down and tossed it in a way to disguise the movement. I don't think he has gum problems but lately I have been having problems with foxes and coyotes around the pasture. I need to correct this behavior quickly.

There are many other things in our houses that make a racket, and the dogs and kitties are alright with them, but, drag out the Hoover, and, wow!, it's as if you were coming after them with a chainsaw.

Why is this?

so i was letting my rabbit run around the house. and i went to the bathroom for a couple of minutes, and when i came out, my baby sister was hoolding it. like grasping it hard. and i took it out of her hands and when i put it down, it didnt move like it usually does. it just sat. now i put it in the cage, and it hopped in. but its just sitting there. and doesnt really do any movement when i touch it. it looks like its breathing hard, and its earrs are twitching. im very scared. i cant stop crying. please tell me if theres anything wrong with it....please. i beg you...

p.s i posted in the birds section by accident.

we have a 7 mo norwegian dwarf rabbit. she is always so full of energy - nonstop movement. these last two weeks she has been very lethargic, just sitting and laying a lot. we think its because she is cold but when we pick her up, she is warm. today we noticed a lot of hair in her cage. is this normal or should we be worried?

Is there a way to reduce the odor? It's rather bothersome. The mice were put in a fresh cage yesterday and they're already smelling up the room.

I am not allowed to have a dog or cat. I can get a small pet that is fun. I really don't like reptiles so do not suggest it. If you do answer this question please tell me something about the pet. And also do not suggest fish or a bird.

3 cats + 4 very playful kittens + 2 dogs (one whose nickname is the destoyer) = no Christmas Tree and little decor at my house. All animals were abandoned so losing any rescued pet is NOT an option.
