No store in mind just wondering if that would be good store hours for a pet store.

It is ok assuming the employees work an hour while the store is closed. Since the workday is usually 8 hours and the store is open 8 hours you are short by 1/2 to 1 hour due to lunch.

That's very short! A pet store needs to be open in the evening so people can come in after work. Also, you need to have people there to take care of the animals more frequently than that. Most pet stores are open 11 or 12 hours a day.

to make good business a normal pet store hours would be mon.-thur. 11a-9p, fri. & sat. 11a-10p, sun. 11a-7p or something close to that. you should keep in mind that all different people work different hours and you want to make sure you accomidate everyone...hope that helps
