want to become a Vet later on. I would like to know from Vets or people who have worked at a Vets office, what do I need to go through (school wise) to become one?

I know that I need to know science and maths but to what degree do I need to know?
I'm not that great at maths and am not too interested in maths.
I'm not BAD at science but I'm not too good at it either.

Also, what could I do to improve my school work in maths and science? I find learning about fractions and shapes very boring.


I'm not able to volenteer at my local RSPCA yet although I would really like to now.
What could I say to the people that work there to see if I could volenteer on the weekends? I obviously don't want money from them, just some experience and the ability to work with animals.

hi i was wondering, i have been given a curb bit and chain for my horse (to help calm her down) and i have no idea what to do with it. does the chain go in the horses mouth? if so where (over, under tongue) etc? can anyone help me!!!

I have two dwarf hamsters and they get along quite well ( from the same litter) However, this afternoon I opened the cage and decided to let them out for a while, I found blood on the girl's front arm. They dont fight, but they do play with each other and make some noises. Whats the cause? Could it be that they accidentally hurt each other when I am not around?

I have a 1996 breeding stock palomino that I think is an offspring sired by MrRobinBoy with an unknown mare. My horse was never registered since the breeder obviously wanted color. I believe all this took place in Southern California. I really would like to know who the mare was. My horse is awsome and does it all. I wouldn't trade him for a million bucks, just curious.

I love animals so much, they bring me so much joy. Sometimes I just kiss my two dogs and three cats allover and have to hold myself back from squeezing them too hard. I just think they are sooo cute and they bring true joy to my life. How do you feel about animals?

I have a fat guinea pig. His name is Buddy, but I nicknamed him fatty cuz he has been so big since we got him and he keeps getting bigger. I think he is a little over a year and 2lbs 12ounces. The vet said he is healthy and laughed when I told her that he eats until he can't move, so I am guessing it is okay, but I am not sure if she knew that I wasn't joking when I told her that. He eats till he can't move and lays out like a beached whale for about 20 minutes...once he digests, he starts all over again. He also wants all the food we give the other Guinea Pig. He is not social so I do bribe him to love me with food. (I am an enabler.) Anyway, is this normal, or a concern. I was just thinking that if a human did this, there is cause for alarm, though I don't think they have therapy for piggies...(I wish they did..mine are an emotional mess.)

My hamster mauled my face HELP?
Ok I was just petting him on my lap ive had him for years and he bit my lip took a chunk of skin out of my upper lip and scrached and swelled my cheecks up - Ive been sterilized with water-soap
alachol and peroxide soo i need help this pain is exrusiating do you have anything that will sooth or premote healing FAST?

Dont you feel bad for the mice that you have to catch and bring outside during winter? Could I like use one of those big rubbermaid containers and keep them during the winter(i wouldnt handle them just in case they had dieseises) I would like replace the top with screen
