Ya :( I do...we had some in our garage...and when my dad opened the garage door one of the mice got scared and ran up the "wheel" part where the chain is...and ya...you can only imagine what happened to him.
I saw another one the other day and my dad wanted to put one of our cats back there to take him out but thats just cruel. As long as they are not in the house or doing any damage..i dont see what the problem is if they camp out in there for the winter..

I'm not sure this is a practical idea, but it sounds like fun.
I have actually captured outdoor mice and kept them in an aquarium, with a wheel to run in, and I enjoyed them. They stink though.
If you have them for a couple of weeks and they are still healthy, you can be pretty they don't have any diseases.
Mice are territorial, and in some cases I found an aggressive mouse being really mean to the others, biting and chasing them, so watch out for that.
They need a running wheel when they are caged, because they really need to run. They get very anxious without it.

I do feel bad for them but you shouldnt touch them. If you do the mice will attack each other because they cant tell it is them. If you feel bad let them stay and live and what ever. I have mice they stay during the winter and leave at spring. If my cat and dog doesnt get them but I know better then to stop the circle that they live in. If you keep them for the winter they will become depent on you and will never be able to go back out in soring and survive.

No I don't. THey evolved without me and they can live without me. I hadn't had any problem in four years with fleas on my two strictly indoor cats until a mouse got in last month. If you try to keep them confined, what are you going to do about fleas and other parasites? I don't think they make mousey sized frontline. In a container like that they will die of stress and fleas. Better a fast death from a snap trap than being eaten alive in captivity.

We have an old storage shed by the playground that we use to store the lawn mower, rakes, ect.
Anyway, I think hundreds of mice inhabit the shed. I have never seen one, but I see their feces where I come in. Occasionally one enters the house, and when that happens, my dad carefully makes a homemade trap for them and then sends them back outside, but near the shed.

I know I do. I have three outdoor cats that love nothing more than to bring me moles. But sometimes they will bring me a live baby mole and I can't help myself I have to help it. Most of the time however the cats just get ahold of it again and kill it.

don't put them in a rubber container they'll naw it open and then you'll never get rid of them, put them in a aquarium. Get them nice and fat and then call all the neighborhood cats over for dinner in the spring!
